Are Pakistani bowlers not capable of landing 3 balls in the channel consistently?

Anyway too late for such things...

This is what you need in test cricket. A bowler running in giving it their all, 7 over spell still bouncing it.

This is what you like to see. Pakistan needs more players like this.

Jamal deserves a 5 fer. Has really shown how to bowl on these pitches, whilst being on debut
He is the only one looks like bending his back, but he is being too predictable with short ball.

with a bum knee and amount of cricket he playing, don't; expect anything else. He should used in 4 over burst of high intensity. 10 over spells you'll not much else
Shaheen never took proper time off. Even after his knee injury, he returned after just 2 months to which a lot of experts expressed disbelief. Ofcourse that didn't end well and he got injured for long then.

Call it greed or pressure to not appear 'dhokebaaz' or selfish by not playing for his country (the fans are to blame too), Shaheen has badly abused his body.

brilliant session for Australia and they have pushed Pakistan on the back foot

125 runs and 2 wickets. Runs came too quickly.

That last over by Jamal was so predictable. Someone should be telling him to use the short ball sparingly instead of making it his stock ball. End result - that last length ball had no bite on it and gets hit for a four.

Will pak be able to avoid innings defeat. I think they will but maybe just

Good effort by Jamal.

Waiting for the King Babar and his Prince Imam to score double tons in this Test match

Having a feeling Australia would rather declare than get all out. Even at like lets say 490. They are aware to not give Pakistan a sense of accomplishment that they took their all 10 wickets

Marsh has brutally thrashed PAK here. For all the raise of Aamer Jamal, he has travelled at 5.5 and that's just not acceptable

Wow fantastic delivery from Khurram. His pace was so poor in the first session despite persisting with the right line & length.

Khurram will need to work on his fitness - it is simply not good enough. In T20's, he hovers in the 135-140 clicks and while no one is expecting him to maintain that through multiple spells but there is zero reason for him to be hovering in the mid 120's to start off the game and now throughout all his spells today.

The debutants stepped up. But Shaheen couldn't. Had Shaheen lead like a true spearhead. Australia would've been wrapped up already.

This pitch has enough for bowlers willing to charge in and bend their backs. All three Aussie pacers are perfect for these conditions. Expecting a blood bath

5-fer for Jamal. Bowled his heart out. Taking a 5-fer on debut that too on Test, against Australia in Perth. Simply brilliant!

Pakistan had a chance to draw this test match but the pace at which Australia has scored will force the result in Australia's favour unless Pakistan batters do something incredible while batting in both innings. It looks like Pakistan is playing with 2 bowlers only and those are Jamal & Khurram. All other bowlers are of less or no impact

Jamal looks like he pumps some serious iron in the gym. The guy is built like a tank, look at his biceps, triceps and shoulders. Something for the rest of the pace attack to note. Strength and weight training makes a big difference

Aamir Jamal is the only bowler that has the match fitness of test standard

Egg on face of everyone who doubted Aamer Jamal. Learn to identify talent.

Great work. On debut. More to come.

6 wickets for Jamal. A dream level debut for him and Pakistan manage to get 10 wickets in an innings.

Pakistan has conceded too many runs. These conditions are perfect for the Aussie pace attack. Shaheen needs to be held accountable

The supporting bowlers Jamal and Khurram did really well. It was the spearhead that needed to lead

Wagner did have a decent series. I think he averages 22 here.
I mean bowling bouncers in Australia to Australia is not easy. But he (Jamal) took the challenge. Although he was at times off line. He did continued to bowl according to his plans and it paid off.

Aamer Jamal hit the right lengths at times and he was rewarded with 6 for 111

Excellent start to his career, 6 on debut, had Pak caught Warner at 100, we would restricted them to around/under 400.
I think more than that it was Shaheen and a bit of Faheem that was let down. Faheem of course is playing as a supporting pace all rounder so you never expect too much from him. But Shaheen should've bowled better. He's a better bowler than what he bowled in this innings.

Shaheen has been subpar

If we caught those 2 easy catches maybe Aussies would be all out for around 400.

If naseem played maybe we could have had them for 380 to 400 roughly. No guarantee as he is untested in Australia too.

Yea but those easy catches were dropped off Jamal and Salman. Both of whom bowled good. Jamal infact got you 6 wickets.

On the other hand Shaheen didn't even created chances

40 for 3 anyone😂😂?
Why cant you say something positive lol. Have some faith. This aussie attack isn't anything special. It's not like mcgrath and Warne are playing. Cummins is good but he does the same thing all day. Bounce bounce and then some full length balls. Rest are all hittable and mostly home bullies.
