What are your ratings out of 10 for the Pakistan players in the drawn Test series against Sri Lanka?

Who did well and who flopped?

Any 10/10, any 0/10?

Babar as a player takes 8/10 - needs to finish the job - something he always claims he tells his players

Abdullah Shafique 2/10 - Expected better but I do hope his 1st Test performance was NOT a one off

Hassan Ali 0/10 for obvious reasons

Yasir Shah 4/10 but for our lead spinner this is not acceptable

For the series:

1. Imam- 3/10. Impactless.
2. AS- 6/10. That one innings had a lot of weight.

Babar- 9/10. Incredible batsman let down by (his own chosen) teammates.

3. Azhar- 0/10
4. Fawad- 1/10

5. Rizwan- 3/10- ok role in a couple of partnerships. We expect much more.

6. Agha- 2/10- That one innings was soft runs. Failed on other occasions in no time. Bowling part time level at best.

7. Nawaz- 6/10. Our best spinner. Had a 5fer but should've been tighter.

8. Yasir- 3/10. Expected to lead the attack. Mediocre returns whilst being expensive. One of the biggest culprits.

9. Hasan- 2/10- Disciplined and useful in 1st test. Complete opposite in 2nd.

10. Naseem- 6/10- Our best bowler in 2nd test. Did his job on these lifeless tracks.

11. Shaheen- 7/10. 4fer in 1st innings was what set the match for us. Huge miss in 2nd test.

Rated taking into consideration the pitches and the conditions.

Abdullah -7 won a test with an Atg knock was poor in other 3 knocks

Imam- 4 impactless series story of his career

Babar -7 gets 9 for batting but captaincy loses him 2 points

Rizwan- 5 his 40 in first test was good nothing much else apart from tidy keeping asusual not helped by team management fiddling his batting position

Fawad and Azhar -0

Salman- 3 not test standard

Nawaz-7 shows promise as a second spinner batting has to get better

Yasir 3 took couple of important scalps in first game but seems to be on his last legs

Hassan -2 turning in to a pretty poor cricketer

Naseem- 6 steadily improving since Aus series needs to do more to justify investment

Shaheen -7 best bowler on show for Pak was missed in second test

Nauman -0 looks exactly like my sister father in law probably same age aswell and my sis is already 42 so you can guess his age.

And they'd probably extract more turn than Nauman "Arm Ball" Ali.

I'd give only Babar, Shafique and Shaheen a rating above 7. The rest are 4 and below.

Imaam-4 got starts didn't convert.
Abdullah- 7 won them the game in the first game.
Babar-8 based upon only his batting.
Rizwan-4 got starts didn't convert.
Fawad-0 looked clueless.
Azhar Ali-0 had no plan and looked lost.
Agha-2 got a 50 but doesn't belong here.
Nawaz-6 bowled well but didn't get the runs that were expected.
HA-0 should be dropped enough is enough.
Nuaman-0 looked like a grandad and bowled like a grandad.
Yasir 3-no control but got some wickets.
SSA-7 bowled well missed him in the second test.
NS-5 bowled alot better in the second test and showed good control.

Abdullah Shafique only getting 2/10

Based upon the ratings Azhar,Fawad,Nuaman,Hassan Ali,Agha should be dropped and maybe Yasir.

The performances in numbers.

Cannot believe that Fawad Alam did not bowl even one over on pitches which are known to help spinners

Agha 20 avg with the bat, 100+ with the ball. That's the definition of a desi aal ronder.

Nauman, and Fawad are having the time of their lives with the central contract, free match earnings and non-existent workload. Only in PCB can you find this sort of luxury.

We already know the capability of Babar so not much comment upon his exceptional consistency. Other than him Abdullah just solidified the confidence with an outstanding away match winning knock in 4th innings, Naseem has improved (Was best pacer from both the sides barring Shaheen who wasnt available after the first innings much) and Nawaz showed that he is as good if not better than some of our main spinners we have currently to offer.

In descending order

Babar Azam (9/10 as batsman, 5/10 as captain in the series)
Abdullah Shafique (7/10, needs to learn how to build up on the form but pretty young so hopefully)
Shaheen (7/10, Played just one match and was only able to bowl in one innings but created an impact)
Naseem Shah (7/10, bowled really well on non conducive wickets for pacers)
Mohammad Nawaz (6/10, bowled well and was our best spinner as I predicted but needs consistency)
Agha Salman (4/10, one decent knock and a wicket but, not much impact other than that)
Imam (3/10, wasted few starts which is not what you want from your opener)
Rizwan (3/10 as batsman (He needs to perform upto his potential and stature, 7/10 as keeper)
Yasir Shah (3/10, too hot and cold for someone as experienced as him)
Hassan Ali (3/10, was a big let down as a senior bowler especially in the second test in absence of Afridi)
Azhar (1/10, Ordinary stuff nothing much to say)
Fawad (1/10, same as above)
Nauman Ali (1/10, as a specialist spinner with years of experience if you cant create an impact here)

For me the more experienced batters let the team down. You have to expect more from the likes of Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq.
