Pakistan reach 8/1 (trail by 354) at Stumps on Day 3 of 2nd Test against New Zealand

What's NZ doing here ? they should have declared, they have more than enough here for an innings defeat....
 
Maybe Naseem can finally pick wickets now that Batsmen are slogging
 
Rizwan is doing a favour to Naseem here - Kiwis will bat for few overs and chances of few more cheap wickets....
 
I stopped watching about 45 minutes ago.

But I have rarely seen a day of test cricket where such little chances were made.

And I watched the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2009 Karachi test which was played on quite possibly the flattest road ever laid out in international cricket. This is where Younis scored 313. And even in that game half chances were being made.
 
Don’t think Naseem will recover from this humiliation. He is mentally finished.

Well he deserves this humiliation after trash talking without achieving anything in his career.

He was not half as talented or skilled as he thought, and it is an important life lesson for him in whatever he does next.

As a cricketer, he looks done to me. The type of player who will disappear in 3-4 years and people will wonder what happened to him.

Nice he can then maintain his away tours bowling average of under 65 every series. Currently he is in risk of crossing 85-90 Mark.

have an iota of shame. At least Indian team allowed us to come back from the caves by winning in MCG.. and bar that one session of madness they controlled most of the game in Adelaide.

Yasir defo playing the SAF series. Gohar had a chance to impress but has been very mediocre.

Tbh that wouldn’t change much. But I would like proactive selections of players who could atleast take game forward and put a fight

We will lose regardless but this torture.

Yeah, that over confirmed Naseem's spot being lost in the test team. Forget bowling, he needs to regain his confidence and willpower back in FC cricket.
 
I am telling you now. This whole FC restructure drama will not yield any results. Don’t fall for the hype of delusional cheerleaders who are also predicting Naseem Shah to become a world class pacer.

Pakistan is an almost minnow level team now and has already seen its heyday in cricket, i.e. from late 70s to mid 2000s.

It is all downhill from here. We will never be a top team again.

As a cricket fan I hope he learns the skillset one must possess to be competitive at international level. He is young and age is on his side and should definitely go back to domestic setup and work with some qualified coach to rectify mistakes.

Stop giving humiliation certificates to everyone. His selection is not his fault.

Yes but running his mouth was. Naseem wouldn’t be receiving half the heat if he didn’t have a big mouth and didn’t overestimate his capabilities.

What else you expect from an uneducated teen age boy of underdeveloped country? Even his seniors who are on verge of retirement overestimate their capabilities. Our team just doesn't know the difference between being confident and overconfident.
 
In the middle of this chaos NZ lead has crossed 350 and our chicken nugget bowlers can't do jack about it.

Ok Barring Shaheen Afridi, rest of the players (bowlers) for Pakistan is not world class. Is Pakistan really that dry for talent ?
