I think they will declare before 650..lolz.. 750 would be too much..
Unless Williamson channels and inner Lara :lara and wants to score 400.
He has a great chance to score 250 plus though.
 
Man this is going to be massacre of epic proportions, atleast Now Muhammad wasim have every right to get rid of the deadwood. Enough of this rubbish. We fans deserve better.

They are probably laughing & thinking that this NZ series matters naught, soon enough the same bowlers will win a few matches at home against hapless SA & that will be enough to cement their place for the next year. After all, after the Australia debacle nothing changed!
 
Misbah is a living curse, anything he is linked with at international lever get destroyed, maybe its not just luck and he actually suck.

Is there a test after this? If yes then I will also bat long to tire bowlers, otherwise 350-380 runs lead should be enough.
 
Pakistan should opt for a concussion substitute, send in Sohail and say Naseem is bowling as if he’s got a concussion.
 
This wicket will crack on day 4 & should be uneven. If possible, Kiwis should look to bat whole day, use heaviest roller on 4th morning, bat an hour and half, put PAK in 6 overs before Lunch.... by Tea, cracks will start to widen.... game might not go to day 5, if the tall guy finds a spot on good length.

Wow, I thought NZ's series win against India in NZ was a bit of a fluke. Looks like I was wrong, NZ is impossible to be beaten in NZ..
 
They give up so easily man. Free runs everywhere. All they care about is getting to some personal milestones here and there just to keep their spots safe.

Tbh they haven’t looked that great asides from Williamson.

You guys lost because your batsmen forgot how to bat.

We are lose because we can’t take wickets to save our lives...

If there is a well matched side then they can def do well here.

Even in our batting, the batsmen who have applied themselves have generally gotten results.

Also the pitches we got were significantly more easy to negotiate than India which were green mambas relatively speaking

Not watching the game, has there been a lot od dropped catches and missed chances in 300 run partnership or bowling was just plain horrible?

Bowling was mostly horrible and did not really trouble batsmen.

This was so embarrassing. It's sad to see our bowling struggle like this. This tour is a reality check how far we have come down.

You hit the nail on the head about the 'Nature of Pitch'. I went to stadium for the first day of both the matches (India and Pakistan). They allowed the audience to have a look at the pitch during the lunch interval. The feeling of the pitch is way different when you actually see in the middle as compared to the one you see in picture or video. During the match against India, the look of the pitch was no different from outfield, only difference was it was rolled. In this match it looked way more brown and there was may be 1 to 2 mm of grass. except the initial 10 overs in the first day the ball was not deviating much from the surface, so I was thinking a score of 297 was not adequate score, even though everyone was praising Pakistan for their batting efforts. On the otherhand, I thought a score around 250 will be very competitive in the game against India.
 
Series after series in SENA are ended with massive massacre now. It has been a long time and frankly I am learning not to expect much from our team now and I see nothing changing in our Cricket anytime soon.

Misbah was going to be a disaster from the very first people who recruited him. I have a feeling SA series could be his last.
 
Wasim Khan should be accountable to appoint anther wanna be fielding coach. You cannot appoint anyone from the street just because he is local.
 
Im at the ground again today. The Pakistan players have been awesome interacting with the crowd. Best i have seen of any team here.

Any batsmen who will score a 100 here in 2nd inning will be to save himself another chance to play in SA series.

I hope Mohd Wasim kick out Shan masood and harris sohail.

I would keep azhar and fawad alam, both still required by Pakistan team.

In his first ever spell (and fastest ever) in international cricket, he averaged 143kph.

So this is a pretty normal decline considering the number of overs hes had to bowl and the phainties he keeps getting.

The shortened run up and the resulting no balls are not normal.The problem fixer (wiki bhai) has infact created problems.
 
Kane should look for a Triple 300, won't get such conditions and a kind bowling attack everyday.

The simple point is that our fans wants to keep making excuses for him rather than accept the obvious lack of skill set and bowling brains

This guy is worse than Yasir: I was hoping replacement will give atleast control and good economy rate if not more wickets

Ah, but two of those fast bowlers are so short, they won't even get admitted on the local rollercoaster ride.

Medium pacers should be bowling more.

I know, that’s why if you had noticed my post on pre match thread, wrote many times that Haris can give 12+23 overs (now even less, Kiwis might not bat second time here) and they should go with four pacers. But, hypocrisy must be noted ....

No they're not invincible apart from Williamson and to some extent the tall guy I don't see anyone in the team that's really scary to deal with (of course from a fans perspective)
we are just trash but they are not that good, they're ok

A bit of a random thought, but I remember when Mohammad Asif took a MoM 9 wicket match haul for Pak to win by 10 wickets. Yeah.

Misbah ko blame na karo, tu bhai kisko karein, who told him to hype these kids to the sky and giving false hope.

Naseem wasn’t ready, but we continued with him to prove a point that he will deliver. Cant blame the poor kid, they both Misbah and Waqar destroyed this kid career here. Naseem not performing has put whole team down in the drainage, he was supposed to be running through the line up.
 
last thing i want to see is shan masood and haris sohail scoring 50s and save their places for SA series

Tbf that was a very weak NZ lineup with randos. But yea wish we had him here. Much better than this sorry bunch

No but the fake narrative being built here is that he was some express 150kph bowler whereas simple fact is that his fastest spell was 143kph
 
We need Babar Azam to do what kane has done for NZL deliver when it matters the most. He is a King Kane Williamson Batsmen in the World.

I doubt if he watches cricket - not only once I have caught him writing gossips about matches we have seen live - Boult one is the latest one. On day one, TB bowled as good is it can be but he was extremely unlucky; beat bats countless times, edges missed fielders by whisker, ball went through bat pad over sticks .... any other day, could have got a 5 for. In fact he can do that in 2nd innings.

What he does is read the scorecard at the end of day, and writes his script to charm posters here.

He was definitely 5 6 kph quicker but more importantly he wasnt bowling no balls and had a full run up. Send him back to domestic but with correct his run up first
 
I forgive NZL for winning this series because they are great individuals and their captain won our hearts in the WC final. Plus I love Lord of the Rings so il forget this series soon.
 
This might sound dumb, but I just found out that the term 'down under', even though it mainly refers to Australia, also includes New Zealand as well. So if that's the case, at least Pakistan actually won a game down under and not lose every match for once #lowexpectations.
 
Allah sent rain out of mercy for the absolute phainty we are receiving this game.
