It’s like Babar has lost the dressing room already

There’s not much to lose here, most of these guys are passengers and playing for their places. It’s like Babar has lost the dressing room already
Why don’t Babar and Rizwan open today and go for the runs from ball 1?
They are apparently the best white ball openers in the world. We are not going to survive 4 sessions as it is

Dropped catches, wickets on no balls and edges not appealed. Pakistan have been half asleep this innings, like they've given up already.
You have answered your question already. This is red ball
You wanna finish this game today itself and enjoy the weekend?
Because this is not a white ball game? Why don’t Babar and Rizwan open today and go for the runs from ball 1?

Babar/Rizwan can get 150 in 30 overs and make it easier for the rest
Different situations - England and India were going for the wins and counter-attacked which put the Australian bowlers off their lengths.
Stokes and Pant played all-time great knocks and transferred the pressure to Australia and the bowlers, fielders and the captain couldn’t cope.
Pakistan had zero interest in winning the match. They were just blocking everything and rode their luck. They weren’t able to put Australia under pressure.
And even then the others will collapse
Babar played an all time knock as well. Just because it doesn't suit you narrative doesn't make it less true.

It’s a lose lose situation anyways
What is there to lose? Try and going for the runs!
Game can still be drawn. Just need to see off new ball and have set batsmen when it starts to reverse
Ideally this should be last test for spinner duo of Nauman / Sajid.
A silver lining... one can only hope.
DamnWhat did I say?
Hasan is so awful ...absolute waste of a spot
I would actually try this batting order and see if we can get the runs, if not shut up shop for the draw….
1. Babar
2. Rizwan
3. Sajid
4. Hassan
5. Shaheen
6. Azhar
8. Abdullah
9. Imam
10. Fawad
11. Naseem
This pitch is fine. But batsmen were too defensive on day 3. 170 odd runs in a whole day in the first innings is way too defensiveHopefully not a defeat will be nice joota on ramiz raja after his rubbish comments and pitch doctoring

But you have no problem when Rizwan does it?
Heading towards draw.
This is not tough pitch to bat.
Shadab has immensely improved his bowling as well. Have seen both Faheem and Shadab bail us out in England live at the stadium. They can handle the pressure and perform.Shadab and Faheem would be very useful if added to the team. They will also give confidence to top orderto bat more positively.
Mamoon fail to see how Shadab's good fielding and encouragment to fellow fielders makes him attention seeker.
Pakistan bowlers have certainly helped improve Uzzie bhai's average.![]()
Hassan Ali is finished. He has no mileage left. He has had a 7 year career and that is more than enough for a cricketer who was never top class material.
Considering what he did in the CT, he overachieved given his limited skills. He can be extremely proud of winning the player of the tournament in an ICC tournament.
This should be his last year in international cricket. Time to find someone new.
Good to see the catch go down as it would have just inflated chachu's wickets column.
Aussies should declare now
