Azhar showing he has settled down. Now go and make a big score son. Younis as always showing us what real cricket is all about.

This is as active as Ive seen Younis in Tests in the last few years- I think he is definitely trying to make a case for the ODI team

Even if Younis can do this in ODIs, he'll make the starting eleven for the world cup. 65 off 90, not bad.

cricinfo No. of years since all of Pakistan's top-four have made 35+ scores in a Test innings against Australia = 31
Unbelievable.

Can't get a better chance to score 3 in 3 ... Go Younis Go!!!!

Haddin is purely in the team for his experience but it's time he stepped aside.

Should never play mid east or sub continent games. Good on bouncy tracks and has nerves of steel usually.

Azhar has rode his luck but he really has to make a ton here. Hope he gets it as we need hundreds to put pressure on australia.

Do u think PAK'll win this test too?

I think it will be really really good if we stay 2 out at the end of the day. Will be an amazing effort.

always been the problem with azhar is his conversion rate (hundreds) + the strike rate

Not bad 22 scores of 50 or more for Azhar in 67 innings ... So he takes 3 innings to score a 50 or more ... No wonder , why he is the the best number 3 in the world at the moment ( based on stats). His only criticism is his strike rate but with such a dodgy batting line up we have I will take it anyday...

are Pattison and Cummins healthy now ?

Cummins is apparently. Playing in the T20s against South Africa and the shield match tomorrow.

Pattinson is changing his bowling technique completely to become side on

Criticsim is with his mind-set. He has the skill to bat quickly when needed but he just prefers to bat at a SR of 30-40 everytime he bats. Needs to dominate the bowlers from time to time to be rated among the top batsmen of the game.

Danger time for Azhar, this is where he tends to throw things away through lack of concentration.

We should be looking to be 300/2 at close of play here.

I think if he continues to deliver the same numbers for another couple of years he would mature with age and become a better batsman ...

Clarke having a shocker with the reviews again.

Clarke just trusts his bowlers.

Mitch Marsh should have asked for the review but probably felt too junior to ask for a review on a 50/50

Smith has some talent with the ball , but he seems to have ignored his bowling completely .

Its all well and good being proactive and whatnot but you need to have patience too which Clarke lacks. Its not helping his bowlers and is coming off as desperate to the Pakistanis.

He is actually a bowler and started his career as a leg spinner but soon realised if he has to play for Australia for long he has to concentrate on his batting thereby ignoring his primary skill altogether ...
