Our batsmen can learn from Shafiq at least he tries to play :)).
 
So many plays and misses, this has been brilliant bowling by the two seamers.
 
I think now they will realize ... you should not bat first on a newly laid pitch ..... because u will not know how it will behave

anyways its history now

miracle needed to make a come back after this performance .. i think SA recently did that .. beating Australia

it isnt for this match it was for pakistan vs ind test match in Karachi ( when irfan pathan took a hattrick in the first over )
 
Broad has really come on as a bowler. Think they miss Bresnan as well in SC conditions.
 
50 up with that :four Half the runs scored by :shafiq who UA fanboys wanted removed from the team .

Not playing Wahab is a really bad decision. I don't know why MHK don't like Wahab & UA.
 
Its okay! This will teach them something! They will have a chance to learn from their mistakes which is good in a long run!
 
Shafiq at least showing some fight, unlike ahem some experienced batsmen.
 
Its just first session guys...there is still alllloooot of cricket left....anybody hoping for a draw, which is still a difficult task but alot of cricket left to play.

Yeah it'll teach Batsmen to step there game up & stop always depending on bowlers or we can play 10 bowlers to achieve more good results.

There was absolutely nothing wrong in batting first. There is a bit moisture under the track & once it dries out, the wicket 'll start to take spin. What they required to do is to go at 60/2 at lunch.

I think MHK should be removed for 3 prime reasons

1. Pakistan's batting is worst among the top 8 sides in 2 folds - top orders are 20-30 players & there tail stars at 7. Neither of 8-11 'll bat higher than 10 for any other top sides. I said this in BD tour & here again - they are worst subcontinent batting side (Of 3) against spin & worst in world against moving ball (of 8)

2. He is incapable to help the bowlers, what ever the bowlers are doing is the harvest of Waquar era, within few months MHK era 'll start to creep in, unless immediately someone competent is brought

3. This team is the dumbest & I repeat dumbest among any international side including IRL, when it comes to rules & regulations, street smartness, quick thinking, flexibility & alternative plan. Absolutely no improvement in intellectual part of the game

MHK is fortunate to have Misbah as Captain. Even if Pak wins this tour 10-0 under MHK, I 'll believe under Dav, even for 7 days to start with, they would have done better.

It's a shame that in modern days, when BCB & ZIM boards are going for specialist Pros, PCB is sticking with novices like Waquar, MHK or Intikhab.

Good bowling by England but terrible batting as well - YK was the worst.

Barring the miracle of miracles this match is gone.
 
Thank God we're 2-0 up and not going in 1-1.

Otherwise this play would be on fire :p

From a neutral pov it's been an exciting test series but realistically it's also been a very low quality one, the bowling has been solid but the batting from both sides has been awful.

Straight bowling on these pitches should cause problems but not the carnage we have seen.
 
Never thought i would say this, but pakistan need to hit out, get as many runs as possible and start bowling soon. :gul :ajmal
 
Haha what a collapse, must be the law of averages playing out. I think they weren't expecting the ball to seam around as much as it did, but poor technique nonetheless and should've have known better to see off new ball and the first hour moisture...I don't think this was asking much from a line-up that's entirely built around tuk-tuk players who aren't any bit swashbuckling.

Yeh match to gya, and I got this horrible feeling that a Cook-Trott drubbing is in order :27:

Well done to England though, impressive bowling by them.
 
Get to 100, bowl out England for 200, make 350 in second innings, and bowl out England for 200 again, win the match :)

Indeed, might as well get it out of our system in a game that is somewhat of lesser importance

I still think we can win this game, just need to scrape out a few more runs and then hopefully our spinners will repeat what they did in the last test

damn , just have seen the score. The batting of the old times is back. Looks like england will save their crown.
 
150 would make it a tricky situation for ENG,,, Ajmal might just be able to pull some magic with the ball..
