i am unable to view the match so can anybody tell me what kind of a pitch it is, the way Shoaib malik is playing it appears that it is a hard wicket to bat on
 
IDK how long do you need to settle in there. Malik has taken over 40 deliveries and is still scratching his head out there. I will be very pissed if he gets out easily after wasting so many delievries

I have been Malik's biggest supporter and i have to admit that he is playing his worst inning today, it's so frustrating that i won't mind if he is now dropped forver.

Malik is such an IDIOT

Gulf in class between Malik and Yousuf becoming evident.
 
Our best hope of getting runs are the spinners. I doubt the batsmen have the guts to take chances against the seamers, no matter how crap they are

I can understand if it's getting slower or ball keeping low but Malik has shown no intent whatsoever.

If malik gets out now he deserves to be dropped for good

Really, we don't need wickets at this stage. These two are good for us.

Ditto. I've supported him long enough. Just hasn't played a decent knock in a long time. Time to move on.

That's the problem with Pakistan cricket. There is no such thing as 'safe' cricket.

Misbah's batting, either hit or block, epitomizes the Pakistan mentality.
 
It will all be well.

Unless Malik gets out now. Then the knives can come out.

India's part time bowlers being allowed to get away with some cheap overs here.

Malik is really scracthing around here and looking ordinary.

Poor effort from Pak so far - putting a lot of pressure on the likes of Umar and Afridi.

Well. this pitch has certainly changed after the first 10 overs. this is a new ball pitch for the batters, remember, Pakistan will also have an edge when the ball gets a little old

When you bat that slow in a limited overs match you bring the criticism on yourself. Now he has to make up for it by increasing the run rate.

That's exactly what I'm saying.

If Umar and Afridi fail, it's because of the 5 'batsman' ahead of them heaping all the pressure on them to get us to a decent total.
 
Meanwhile the Windies just ambling along as the RRR jumps above 7. I think their captain Reifer smoked some of the good stuff before going out and is on the gooooooo slowwwwwwww.

Dont let your hopes fly too high I think Umar would be under tooo much pressure he is playing against India for the first time and our top order hasnt layed any kind of Plateform
 
I think Afridi will soon have to personally retire Malik.

A third rate Windies side. If you compare them to us, then what does that make us? they are in the same position against a world class attack.
 
Wicket at this stage will be a disaster. Let them go until 35th over then umar and afridi can attack instead of rebuilding
 
They look like they ve settled for 250, it aint gonna win the match
 
Our only hope is that we can get to 180 odd by the 40th over and then go right after the bowlers in the last ten overs. India are bad at bowling at the death overs.
 
Still on track for 250+

Should double our score from the 30th over, if we have wickets in hand :)
