Impressive pace this from Adil, he's put some weight on and looks sharper.

He seems to have good accuracy. Not too sharp 135-138 seems his 'normal' range.

Wish him luck.

No swing, no seam, no movement no nothing!!
What kinda new ball attack is this?

Ehsan bowling at a good pace! And people said he trundles!
Great line, length, control, pace. Looking good
Not a lot of movement on this track today.

Not bad a start by Ehsan... I expect a lot from him with the new ball...

Good first over from Ehsan Adil, right on the money..needs to stay on that line and length..Rahat Ali needs to keep the pressure from the other end

Well he used to bowl around 127 kph, so if he can maintain 135+ with his accurate line and length he will be good. .
Excellent athlete, fielder and can hold the bat as well.

135-138k is ok speed, not special. Like 84-86 mph. Both guys are bowling at that speed. With that speed you have to have some skills - you wont beat guys for pace bowling mid 80s.

I wish him 200% luck. I am just stating the reality of his speed. Average pace for intl pace bowler.

Its his second test match man, he will only improve from here on...give him a chance and stop complaining

The guy averages 19.61 in domestic, he knows what he is doing.

You can just tell Rahat's cricketing IQ is about 2. Has no idea what he's doing. Just runs in and bowls.

Beautiful shot by McCullum, ondrive 4

There is no movement of the seam thus far

The next ball, thats the line..good bounce there for Adil

Where is the complaint?

I said at 84-86 you need skills as its not enough speed to beat dudes for pace. That is (a) NOT a complaint and (b) a fact of cricket.

How many bowlers in world cricket constantly ball 90mph+? Its clear that he is not that type of bowler who relies on pace, he has a different skill set..let him apply it and see how it goes. Looks more in the McGrath, Philander, and Asif mould of bowler.

Pace is good, but need control. He is near about 136-138kph..for his skill set that is enough, a little nibble of the seam in or out could be really tricky to play for a batsmen

135k+ is good enough with the bounce he gets. Prodding line and length, swinging enough and will seam some eventually. These type of bowlers are lethal on helpful pitches.

No one expects him to be 90. I just placed 84-86 in its context. Now 140k is a benchmark pace for an opening bowler to be 'fast'. At fast medium obviously bhai will need skills of seam/swing et al.

Have some chai and relax. We are rooting for the same guys.

Rahat needs to ball fuller to give the ball a chance to swing.

Not taking advantage of the new ball. Needs to create pressure with Adil.

But no one was claiming he is 'fast' he is moving the ball a little, seems like this pitch is completely not conducive to fast bowling

Thanks bhai, I prefer coffee though :yk2

What a sad sight! All empty chairs in all sections.

Adil looks a good prospect to me. Bowling in a good channel.

Rahat runs and just bowl without thinking while ehsan is using his brain and trying to set the batsman

That looks plumb

Let's see how Pakistan perform after losing the toss for a change. I hope UAE doesn't turn out to be "win the toss, win the match" kinda place.

It's gonna be umpires call but ffs you should be giving that out as an umpire.
