My guess about 11 or 12-13 if spinners are operatingkasoo10 said:How many overs before lunch?

When your top bats are people like Butt, Farhat, Malik, Misbah & Iqbal its not asking for much is it?Inswinger said:Aamer looks more comfortable against the new ball than some of our top bats!

it's been some time since pakistan made 400 runs in an inning.shafkath said:400 up
Well one decision was bad and not to be used as an excuse but we were chasing then. Let NZ chase 190 to win in 50 overs. It will be like an ODI match. They will first make sure they go for draw or if they go to chase the target and lose 2 wickets early they will go for draw unless they get close with 100 runs to get and 6-7 wickets in hand. We were at 195 with both Akmal bros playing needing 241 to win. Then Umar fell and all hell broke loose.
I really hope history doesn't repeat itself today.

Naysan from Australia: "I dont understand why everyone wants Pakistan to be more attacking in this match, fact is they were all out for 223 in their first innings and lets face it, not many gave em a chance of forcing even a draw at lunch on day 3, so give em a break, least they're not bundling out, plus if they try to up the ante, chances are they'll be all out by lunch. So great test given where they've come from in this match to defy NZ thus far."
McCullum will be out in first 3 overs. Better for us as new ball and more pressurekasoo10 said:McCullum will open and single handedly take each and every bit of respect from Pakistani cricketers away. Never think about letting them bat with less then 300 to chase.
I completely agree. A draw after that awful 1st innings will be a win in itself.kasoo10 said:I am with this guy:
Misbah should really be a goner after this match. How in the hell did he ever score 280 odd runs in one innings back home in QEA?IMMY69 said:we just need to rotate the srtike, pick up the singles and put any bad balls away for four...
there is no need to try and up the rate just for a declaration...that should have been our policy from the start but somehow misbah, who does look like a fish out of water, just couldnt keep the score board ticking...we should really have been close to 200 by now and in whichcase the though of a declation sometime just after lunch could have been on the cards...as it stands now, and barring a really good partnership from these two, we'll probably have to be bowled out if we are to see the kiwis bat again...
yeah,I'll be pleasantly surprised if he opens..he wont last long against12thMan said:McCullum will be out in first 3 overs. Better for us as new ball and more pressure
On second thought, lets trade 1st and 2nd innings scores with NZ at this stage. We score 471 here and declare and give them 224 to win, which is what we scored in the 1st innings, and lets see if they can do it.hashmist said:I completely agree. Rumors are that the kiwis commentator aren't biased. Would you believe that too?Khurram said:Some one listen when yesterday a NZ commentator saying rumors are taht M Amir is 22 ? buildup to AUS tour ? Always before AUS tour we hear some like that
