Hope both of these can take us to 400 before getting out.

Wow, going after such a ball will result in a typical Hafeez nick!

Curb your urge, boy!

playing negative has already cost us a game against same minnow team as you say on same flat roads.

pulls Vettori for another :4

Hafeez showing how an inform batsman should be batting.

Hafeez doing a good job of taking most of the strike and scoring runs here.

2nd session goes to the kiwis, we need to be 270/3 at close of play and need to make sure we score atleast 400 in 1st inns here!

We MUST get 450+ on this pitch. If not we have failed. It is down to Misbah and co. Come on.

Lucky escape for Misbah as the inside edge narrowly missses the stumps..

I have a feeling Misbah might play one series against india after world cup before retiring. May be he will retire from ODI and then later from tests. I hope he is not forced out.

We need to get to 250/3 by the time the new ball is due, we need to pick up as many runs as possible against the old ball

Why are all the fielders at the boundary when Häfeez is facing? Aukan Hawkeye :yk

Lol there was a man for the catch yet Misbah goes there..luckily it was safe..

Need to make sure these two are batting at the end of the day. Push towards 450-500 tmrw :sahmed

vettori is exactly the bowler NZ have been missing, someone to hold up an end, dry up the runs pick up 1-2 wickets. Really is a shame, the guy hasn't been right last 4-5 years and only 35. For a spinner that is a very early retirement.

Vettori going through the motions. Looking ineffective now.
