Well the two batsmen preferred to bat at 9 and 10 contributed a grand total of zero.
 
Catching practice - If Pakistan players didnt feel like playing today, they should have said so!
 
With this kind of loser attitude we would easily let NZ score 500 here and give them 100+ lead
 
Now i am loving this, and now you will see how interested are kiwis when they bat you out of this test and make 500 runs on this same pitch.

I am certain the loss has affected NZ more, but Pakistan have only themselves to blame for their precarious position due to their batting last match in the 2nd innings.

Don't be an idiot all you life mate. NZ deserve this, with some excellent bowling and with some help from the batsmen too. Either way, it's only a game, and we all realise that after what has happened.
 
Holy.. I think someone must have forgotten to tell the lower order that it's day 1, not day 5. I guess we were due a collapse after all this time, but yikes.
 
I'm not sure how NZ batting will go. Will they be completely unfocused or will they come out and apply themselves.

This is a very flat pitch, only thing that would stop them scoring 450+ would be their mental aspect

There is no way Pakistan can run through Kiwis on this pitch

Even 50 run lead will be handy here, Advantage NZ

They have perfect oppurtunity up for grabs, Pakistan bowling would struggle on this pitch, this is flattest surface in UAE

Pakistan would not mind 50 runs.

I think a lot will depend how much time Kiwis bat.

This test should have been called off.

It will all depend how will Pakistan bowl.

They can still bowl them def under 400 and even 300 but sure they threw away a big advantage.

The outfield is much quicker but I think the pitch is similar to the first 2 matches, just less grass holding it together.

This pitch has immense sheane and has truer bounce, much flatter than Abu dhabi and Dubai
 
Easily our worst collapse in the last 5 tests. What a poor showing on what still looks a good batting track.

Players were given a day off to get their thoughts together, No excuses acceptable on part of players

cmon. Batsmen were not focussed at all.
NZ not going for close in fielders even for tailenders.
The body languages are off. All of them are acting as though they are being forced to play.

They are in no mood to play.

What a great session for NZ in this sombre atmosphere

Match has almost turn on its head
 
NZ should come out and attack Talha and Rahat, both are prone to bowling bad lines when attacked
 
They are playing for their country , mood should not be an issue.

it has not turned any way. its the third day already. to score 450 and take a substantial lead, NZ will have to bat today and tomorrow full day. then they would be left with 1 day and you cant expect two innings to be completed in one day.

We played badly and got out on nothing deliveries , I fail to contribute it to the mood.

Pathetic 1st session from pakistan, to collapse in such conditions is criminal and has allowed kiwis back into the match. Now we need our bowlers to keep us in the game by bowling well.
 
Some really retarded posts in this thread. Looks like people only pretend to show their sympathies and dont understand how others are feeling.

A cricketer has died recently hence you could see the moods of the players, but to say that they are playing for their country and other crap, does that mean that one shouldn't sympathie for another
 
Judging by the atmosphere on the ground it seems the teams are not interested and I reckon the end result will be a Draw.

Show all the sympathy you want but some posters implying that pakistani batsmen got out because of the extreme sadness they are feeling , yet ross taylor didn't drop the catch, is unbelievable.
