Totally man, totally. I have had this idea for a while, but I always thought it was way too radical to be expressed publicly but what the heck. Here goes:

What if...the PCB had a group of people whose job it was to SELECT players? They don't need to play or manage, their only responsibility is to watch domestic cricket and then SELECT those players for match squads. My only problem is I can't think of a name for the role of these people who do the SELECTING.

We'll just have to settle on "People that watch lots of cricket and then choose players to play in games of the aforementioned cricket for Pakistan" unless someone can choose a snappier title.

Yes great idea but when you dive into Pakistani ******** culture, they will soon have Hafeez's family offering money for him to be given a favourable report.

He is maintaining good line and length.

But Pak batsmen have made him look like ATG.

There is nothing special in his bowling. All he is doing is bowl straight at gentle pace and Pak batsmen are gifting their wickets away.

Philander is a great bowler in good bowling conditions, but in UAE, he is average and should be targeted for runs.

There is no excuse for opposition batting if they don't take Philander for less than 50 runs in his 10 overs.
