Cant just wait for misbah to get bashed now. His expression said it all.

When you are doing injustice you will get exposed sooner than later.

He looked better than most other "fake stroke making" openers who played for pakistan in ODIs But apparently he still failed to impress you.

So Why not just suggest players who should Open instead ?
 
There's been no fight whatsoever from this team. 167-5 on Day 1 of a home Test is totally unacceptable.

Not only does the deadwood from the team need clearing, but the coaching staff too.

We're probably going to score 325+, which will be enough for us to win.

And thats why babar is the best bat in the test team, even though shafiq has a better technique, mentality also plays a role.

Dreaming is pretty good i must say..but the fact remains Herath or NO Herath we cant play left arm spin ..there is slight spin but not much which should be worrying...

I just hope this pitch doesnt flat out like pindi...otherwise we are doomed..their batting is better than us by miles i would say and they bat deep not like us...

Haris, azhar, imam and shaan are all a waste of space
I would only keep babar, shafiq and rizwan from top 7 and abid ali but on probation.depending on his scores.
So need 3 new batsman, surely fawad deserves a chance and two youngsters.

Despite whatever the result be of this match, one thing is for sure, test cricket is lot more exciting in Pakistan than uae.
 
This pitch is a lot more suitable for fast bowling than people here are making it out to be.

Our fans deserve this humiliation. Except the ones who have the misfortune of being present in the stadium.
 
I am afraid looking at the current picture and our team's competence on a slightly lively pitch, pcb will go back to slow dry flat pitches.
 
My fear is that babar will become mentally drained playing with this lot with the exception of shafiq, and start to lose his way .

Well if he had played with a little more patience, we probably would have been at 180 for 3 right now. So he needs to be a bit more careful next time.

Shafiq is going to be denied a century just like in the gabba because of a lack of support from the other batters.

Well someone explained this on cricinfo. The previous deliveries from the bowler he wasn't able to get to the pitch of the ball which caused square leg to be interested. To negate that he stepped out to reach the pitch. But the bowler out thought him, bowled slow which spun a long way

He didnt throw his wicket away, it was good bowling

That will happen if everyone keeps telling you that you are world class. It starts to sink in the players head. He has alot of flaws, the biggest seems concentration, which is much more difficult to correct than technique. His cousin umar had the same issue.

Yep he was setup. But still he should have played it from the crease. Too risky to come down the track when the ball is spinning sharply away from you.
 
Fawad shouldve been picked.

Misbah is doing the same thing that inzi did to him, keeping him out of the team.

He has a terrible cricket iq. And as i predicted things are just gonna get worse and worse.
 
PPl have high expectations of Babz i understand that is why blinded by him getting out....i guess good job Bangladesh have said not coming as we should be challenging Ireland for 9th position but let us all blame Wasim Khan....

He is still very humble and grounded based on his media talks. He just made a mistake and due to sheer incompetence of other players, it got magnified.

It does not have anything to do with Misbah.
Umar was never that much talented, even at 20. He was a rubbish batsman who could score a quickfire 30-40 on a good day, and struggle to get to double figures for the next 10 games.

He is not fit enough to be compared to Babar's shadow.
 
We should also appreciate srilanka's bowling. They havent bowled too many bad deliveries.
 
I am telling you SLs batting is better than ours now bowling...so in a nutshell we have already lost...as we will keep saying YOUNG ATTACK YOUNG ATTACK...i mean srilanka has very EXPERIENCED attack dont they..
