I am also concerned about the lack of crowd. Why are Indians concerned about the match attendance? Lol

Ideal pitch for amir.
But amir is selfish.
We overhype our youngsters because of age-fudging and then we are surprised when they are not as good as we expected.
Typical pakistani response. A couple of lose spells and people are not as good as expected? Naseem could have had 2-3 wickets, but things did not go his way. Patience is the key here, for every one.
Amir himself was a rubbish test bowler.

Not on these type of pitches.
Amir on green pitches and especially if swing in the air, was lethal.
Not so good on flat dead pancakes.
If he is 16, then impressiveHe has not been impressive so far. The only reason he is hyped is because we have lied about his age.
If he is 16, then impressive
If he is 21 then not very impressive.
Naseem will improve the more he plays. Shaheen has come on leaps and bounds over the last year since debuting. We need to be patient.
Were the SA pitches green? He was rubbish even on green pitches post ban. Example Last SA tour
He has not been impressive so far. The only reason he is hyped is because we have lied about his age.
Pakistan really are worst team in tests on planet right now
Oh bhai, assume he is 19 and not 16, bowling consistently 140+ is still impressive.

Rizwan deserves credit for this wicket. He showed his tactical insight. Unfortunately it was in Pashto so people won’t pick it up.
Rizwan is moaning about Azhar’s captaincy in Pashto.

Rizwan to Shaheen before the delivery:
“Tell the leader to push the fielders back. Try to bowl short because it is a matter of one catch”
It is hard to translate word by word from Pashto to English, but the word that he used for Azhar hinted sarcasm. He was mocking his tactics.
More like a dhananjya brain fade than rizwan's tactical nous

Quality of Test cricket truly is at it's worst these days - that was last over before Lunch and this pair got PAK on mat!!!!!!!
Anyway, it makes the game closer - neither team will be much ahead after first innings.

Rizwan used the word “mashar” for Azhar. It literally translates to “elder”, but in such context it is usually used to describe someone who assumes the role of a leader but doesn’t know what he is doing.
It is not the first time Rizwan has spoken pashto on the field. Even in domestic cricket, he speaks pashto behind the wicket. Could be clever move to ensure opposition doesn't understand the tactics. But not a good option to use it against own team mates. It creates arrogance and negative environment within the team. If he had better plans to dismiss the batsmen he should have approached to the captian with his plan.Rizwan used the word “mashar” for Azhar. A good 40 mins till lunch when De Silva got out.

Pereera can bat and averages well against Pakistan

P.S: Not an Azhar fan
We have some linguistic experts and context analysts on PP - didnt know.
In a group, if two people start talking in their native language which not understood by the others it is always considered to be the disrespectful. Regardless of the conversation they may be having. It is normal for players. Punjabi speakers speak in Punjabi to their fellow players. Shaheen, Yasir and Rizwan all grew up in or near Peshawar and they speak the same dialect.
They probably won’t talk to Afridi in Pashto because his Pashto is very different from them. I don’t think there is anything wrong with what Rizwan is doing.
No matter how poor azhar is as a captain, for someone just coming into the team, to show such disrespect is not good.
Maybe safi needs to come back, if only to be a specialised captain
I think, key is Chandi - he can dent PAK significantly here with Yasir struggling & Abbas already bowling lot.

It is doesn’t take a linguistic expert. Rizwan and I grew up in the same city in the same generation. There are certain words and terms that are only native to a particular community.
I am sorry if you don’t like Azhar being mocked, but that is exactly what Rizwan was doing.
Damn, i went for a ciggie and i missed the wicket.
Pakistan has taken 3 wickets this morning and i have missed them all.![]()
Way you describe it- it can be respectful as well. It is like Indian players calling Ganguly by dada.
That context thing can just be your imagination too.
It doesn't matter what he is doing until he is scoring those precious runs. What is Dickwella doing ?![]()
Go for another ciggie![]()
