Pathetic selection by going in with 4 bowlers and keeping 2 walking wickets plus shehzad and deciding to chase!!!!!
 
am not sure its the right call to chase .

WI are pretty poor chasing too , could have just settled the game there
 
The hell with this management. They are such buffoons that i have a hard time even comprehending their decisions.
 
Don Younus still playing hahahahah... he will make sure Pakistan lose this match and world cup too...

Dumb dumb decision to drop yasir , west indies have historically struggled against spin. Its like team management is just picking the team to troll the fans.

Most good selection panels tend to think three steps ahead. Pakistan's thinks two steps backwards. Yasir failed against the best players of spin, so they drop him against the worst players of spin.
 
Win the toss and bowl first. Recipe for disaster.
Pitch is damp and slow, leave out Yasir Shah. Recipe for disaster.

I don't see us winning the game. now tbh.
 
4 bowler strategy won't take us far in this tournament. Its a negative tactic.

Not only do you main 4 bowlers have to be excellent, your fifth bowler has to have a reasonable day. Yasir Shah' weakest performance was going to be against India who even thrashes Warne but it has cost him his spot.
 
why would you go a spinner short against WI ? you guys played 2 spinners against us
 
Let's hope we can take early wickets and restrict them for around 220. I don't see us chasing anywhere close to 250 let alone 300.

Every match the team just gets worse this is just bizarre selection. 7 batsmen in a 50 overs game just doesn't make sense. If the top 5 can't get runs we should just quit.
 
Feel for yasir , shouldn't have played against India in his first pressure WC game . Today , he should have been in the team against West Indies.
 
This squad would look so much better without Afridi, Shahzad, Akmal and Younis Uncle. I am sure Afridi will take few wickets against this weak WI team and everyone would be like lala nay single handedly match jeeta diya. I hope Afridi, Younis, Shahzad and Akmal get out on big fat zero.
 
Really disappointed in misbah and waqar.

They either dont have brains or dont have guts to drop younis khan.

Such cowards shouldnt be in the leadership role.

At times, I wonder if the collective IQ of the entire Pakistan think tank even gets to double digits or not!

Great decision by Misbah. Pakistan will look to increase their NRR and it is better to bat second for that.

He still bowled really poorly . In these conditions windies have players like Samuels who can play him easily . Zulfiqar baber should have been selected , two leggies isn't ideal
 
waqars to and fro strategy shows that he doesnt have any game plan and he never planned our batting lineup prior to the world cup.


Against australia sarfraz opened, did well and he got demoted in the next series.


I dont know why he was made coach again.
 
This captain and team management is completely crap...Can they progress in the world cup till semi final with 4 bowlers???

if that happen then it will be a miracle for me at least .

bringing in spinner against india ..and dropping a leggie against a team who are weak against spin bowling .... but that crap YOUNIS KHAN will play every game

what if we need 5th bowler against better side like South Africa... will Yasir SHAH be confident??

Not a fan of big 4 bowler strategy.

I suppose that's why Misbah decided to chase.

Doesn't have enough to stop the chasing teams.

Because Indians are superior players of spin, whilst the West Indies are not and going by our managements logic, this was the right call or else, we all would have been surprised with their "thinking".

Allah coming in with the assist. Getting windy and overcast. This might turn out to be our day after all.
 
Excitement is too strong for this one, these 10 minutes feel like years. I hope Irfan does something today.
