and there again you see an example of impatience.. when the coach sends afridi early we all go crazy about how the coach does not want afridi to settle, and when he has a confimed position we want him to go out on the field early, no matter what the situation is. No win situation for the pcb

I always keep on saying Afridi is much better down the order, and as u say, LET HIM SETTLE!!!

First of all, MOYO played a leg glance and than the umpire calls it a dead ball...to top it off, the umpire calls over after only 6 balls!

Is it just me who thinks that a dead ball has to bowled again?

I have no problem with Afridi coming in anywhere from 3-6 in ODIs depending on the situation. That way his role is clear but the position is open.
 
Seems like Younis thinks hes playing a test when Yousuf bhai is his mate.

Well he was offering a shot, but the umpire thought, in error, that he was not.

But bottom line is, if the dead ball originates from the batsman offering no shot, then the ball is not re-bowled. Whether the decision to call a dead ball is correct or otherwise, is a separate matter.

It is a pitch that suits him. Bowl him in conditions like those that exist in Asia, and I doubt he would cause many problems.

True, I was just speaking about 7 overs I have seen so far. Does not mean much. But having said that no matter what the conditions are like you still have to put the ball in the right place. Lewis is bowling very much like Asif and he has taken wickets in the subcontinent.
