Why are people being so negative? It was only yesterday that we beat this team easily, and already we are hearing about poor Pakistan/great India. Rememeber we chased down 300+ against India only a couple of months ago. Stop being so negative and enjoy what looks to be a cracking match in prospect.

Trust me people........India will have to get 350 before they bat us out of this game.

Actually India are going quite slowly at the moment. Less than 5 runs per over........if they want to bat us out of this game they need to get a move on because 280 is not going to be enough against us. We will walk to 280 with all our hands tied behind our backs and Afridi holding his bat with his mouth.

Well that prediction is a bit far-fetched. Remember this pitch is not for the big shots, so India might collapse in the end. I say India are looking for a total of about 240-260 here

Its not even the half-way stage! Who knows we might be looking at a reachable total again. I dont believe 300 can be made on this pitch

If Afridi and Mailk bowl well, Pakistan are in for more trouble.
spin will be more in the second innings
 
I dont think they can better this run rate - they will lose wickets if they try to accelerate further and there lies our chance!

300 is still premature. The difference is sehwag. If he continues then it's very well in sight.

Exactly. Will be very hard to accelerate in the end. 300 definitely not possible here.

There is no swing - nothing in this pitch - underlights business is so 1990s !! I cant see any winner here except Pak ( MIG eats his own hand... )

My sauce past its sell by date so I am not aware of any match fixing.
 
Who the hell told these Abu Dhabi guys to host only two one-day internationals?!! A three-match series would have been a lot better and we would atleast get a clear deserving winner of the trophy!

Have I missed something? The last time I checked the first innings was still in progress and Pakistan did not bat. We certainly hadn't lost the game

Hey Bob,

Congrats on the win in the 1st ODI at Abu Dhabi. Good all round team effort. I have a couple of things....

1. What are the chances of Afridi changing his mind? I think he is a vital member of our test team.

2. Look at some of the idiots who post questions here.......Are they really worth the hassle? Just charge for membership. That way only the genuine people will remain and you wont have to waste your time going through absolute rubbish posted by fools who probably couldn't tell the difference between a yorker and a bouncer.

It is common with all-rounders to only firs on one discipline
All things come to an end that is for certain, I would rather not write off such a great player.
The field setting is the perogative of the captain, we discuss before the game certain startegies, but Inzy was excellent last evning.
"Jason Gillespie?" only kidding Andrew Flintoff
I have tried not very successfully although I can pick one of his googlies. I always help any player with variations, if they require me to do so.

Would have been better if there was just one match to be honest. Three would be a joke.

India have just finished a gruelling series against England, we're coming off two tough series against England and India and it's not long before we go to England. Not to mention we have a couple of guys who will be playing county cricket before then.

We need all the rest we can get between now and the summer.

eh? Looks dodgy doesnt it. A two-match series why? Why not have a three-match series to get a clear winner. That way no-one would complain about things like match-fixing etc.

lol, Razzi getting owned by Sehwag. After Hoggy and Flintoff had Veeru's chaddi in a twist by bowling consistently at his head, trust Razzi to bring him back to form with his nippy half-volleys.
