I dont think so MIG. Bob made him a good player by keeping him down the order. This tactic is just a panic measure and stupid

Everyone from Imran to our local experts were of the view that a slow and steady start wont work - we needed an explosion at the top order and unfortunately, that is exactly what we got but in the opposite direction - an Implosion :31:

why are you guys blaming Afridi when it is clearly Woolmer's fault?

Ofcorse it is! Heck even global warming is woolmer's fault for some people! If that move would have come off, you would probably be praising woolmer!

lala will soon be quiting ODIs to concentrate on Test cricket. We needed him to chase a big total.

MIG we are so much better as a team with a solid platform and then launching at the end with wickets in hand. Id rather have afridi come in with 7 an over required for 5 overs but I dont think sending him up does any good. How many times does it come off?

I'm sorry but that is nonsense. I never praise Woolmer. It's always his fault and that is the way it is.

good point about global warming though. I would even blame him for the crusades.

Rubbish, Imran is never wrong. He was misquoted by the lying TV camera. We know how those live TV broadcasts can be edited to make someone look silly. He is never wrong, he won the World Cup. What more proof do you need?

the problem is that u guys expect too much from afridi , remember he is also a human being not a machine, and we all know he is not a consistent batsman

Pathan is going to bowl a long spell here, it might not be so smart by the captain who is he going to use in the death.

Mr Glue feet Farhat played another vinatge innings!

so what if Farhat can't score runs? at least he is a specialist. everyone knows that a specialist is always better than a bits and pieces lassimaker regardless of how useless and brainless the former is and how good the latter is.

and that's the way it is.

Its not Afridis fault at all. He was pushed up to hit a few and its a risk which might have come off. Most of the time it doesnt work, for me we always make this silly mistake by appearing to be desperate and send in Afridi when we are chasing a big total when the essence of chasing a total is to lay a solid foundation and keeping wickets in hand.

:14: :14: Bravo well said.

this is bullcrap

these are the batsmen that are supposed to be the no.2 side?! they can't even play agarkar! making him look like mcgrath!

I think we have a good enough tail to get these runs...

There are always failures in a line-up...let's hope Inzie and the rest can pull it off.

So how are they planning to share the cup? I think that we should have it for the first year since we won the first game and then they can have it for a year.

OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!! younis out !!!!! caught behind, man we r really not doing good now

breaking news gillispie gets a double hundred against bangladesh

aah yes. the "slit your wrists" brigade is here.

Oh dear, good thing we have specialists like Younis at the top instead of tailend flat-track bully sloggers like Malik at least.

What is this man. What is wrong with Pakistan. Captain and Coach can blame as much but most of the time its our batting which let us down?

How was Younis out?

From cricinfo:

Agarkar to Younis Khan, OUT, good length delivery, pitched wide outside the off stump and shaping away from the right-hander, a relatively innocuous delivery, Khan goes fishing outside the off stump and catches an edge, Dhoni dives across to his right and takes a good catch - Pakistan three down and in trouble here!

-------------------------------------

Pfffft, who needs Yasir Hameed?

Didnt Rao have a splendid game as usual today? Bowled nice medium pace line and length racing through his 10 overs. Fielded supremely well. He is such an excellent young prospect. Oh how i am looking forward to a decade of this excellent cricketer.

Malik playing well again. AJ is no doubt over on ICF talking up their players

here we go...45 for 3...in 11.4 overs...indian POP-GUN attacks is killin' us ..Great..
Yusuf need to do something to win the match today i hope..

IS THIS MATCH FIX ??? WHY 2..WHY NOT 3 ;)
