keep scoring tons against zims and windies and that average will keep creeping up..
 
I don't like the way Kaneria bowls around to lefties. I think he should get closer to stumps and try to get some out drift before spinning it in. He just throws it down the angle, into the pads. Not as difficult to negotiate.

Anyway, pitch starting to now play tricks. Not good news for Pak bats...
 
Rehman bowling half volleys. How did he garner test selection. He gets no drift, no turn, no variation.

Malik should bring someone close in behind square leg to put doubts in Prince as he plays that tuck of his legs.

rehman just doesn't have enough variation for test cricket.
 
Every time I go and watch the ODI, a wicket falls! Maybe I should stay away for the sake of Pakistan.

It really is a disgrace that a bowler of Rehman's caliber has been given a test cap.
 
I am still hopeful Pakistan will make a comeback. Rehman took his first test wicket though Boucher was unlucky. I am looking forward Pakistan containing SA within 460. A good Pakistan Innings will make this match very interesting.
 
I dont think Asif can knock out the tailender but i do believe that Gul can,so he will be a better choice for sure

If our batsman show some application and pile on the runs, South Africa will be ruing throwing away their start.
 
All the SA batsmen got out in the order they came in. But Nel broke that tradition in this innings.

doesnt matter.. 5th ball you know de villers is going to take a single.. change the bloody field.. he is not a test player and by the looks of things not a test captain.. first game is never an excuse in life..
 
Naive captaincy.

Malik seems lost out there.

Can see them getting 500+ if these Pak tactics continue
