Oh, come on! you're only bringing up common sense and logic here. Stop it you. I mean, Hash and his fellow Inzi lovers will have you believe how HE has won these tests in the past couple of years, but they fail to recognize or mention the efforts of Shoaib Akhtar in those matches Pakistan won, or any other bowler/batsman. Seriously, stop it before you start making sense.

Some of these nerds will hold onto that "Shoaib faked his injury during the indian series" string for the rest of their life but never bring up the fact that Inzi was proven wrong after his tests came back positive. Oh by all means bring up the fact that INZI accused shoaib of faking an injury, but don't mention anything about how INZI was proven wrong.

Atleast he tried to hook the 4th ball for a four, a little bit more intent.

Inzi might have the greatest average over the last 8 or 9 months but he still has the ability to get us through the tight corners and do well when it really counts.

It will be a good idea to go for broke now because even if Inzi gets out we will have around 15 mins to bowl at the S Africans...and i am sure they will not like that!

Rameez has never been the yardstick to measure cricketing sense, and never will be. His name should be, captain oblivious.

After reading couple of people´s post above, I would like to add that Inzi is not a coward nor has he been playing selfish cricket just to increase his average. I think, he trused sami and akhtar and he wanted them to show some of their batting skills.

Sad they gotten out but now since inzi know how bad Asif is in batting so he is protecting him by not going after the easy single on the beginning of the over.

What a player Inzi is, he is playing although he is not top fit, still very easily. Some of you should reckon that and try comparing him with Faisal **** Iqbal or Hameed...Believe me, we still dont have any replacement for this great player and after I read what had been in the dressing room in the morning, i am more than happy to have inzi as a captain and not the "Dummy captain"
 
Asif was left to face 1 delivery there. COme on Inzi what are you doing making Asif face 1 delivery per over.

btw Danish was out on the 5th ball of the over, so he wasnt exactly left to face a full over

I find it quite amazing that the S Africans have not been able to stop the single....this is like the 4th over in a row where Inzi has succeeded

a great batsmen who could have made a 100 in this TEST .. but wont b/c he had the TAIL to bat with...
 
good batting by Inzi last 2-3 overs.
Pretty useful runs, though I still think we kind of have lost the momentum here.

There are better options available. Faisal is not a solution, likes of Bazid, Raza, Yousaf (Shahid) have been knocking on the doors for quite a while. The fact that Younis and Yousaf have stepped up nobody has seen the horrible dip in Inzi's batting. It used to be big 2 (Inzi and Yousaf) it is still big 2 (Yousaf and Younis).
 
Asif has only had to face 5 balls in the last 5 overs. No gameplan eh?
 
Finally, some sense being shown here. Good stuff here by the big man.
What you people need to understand is, that I'm not hating on Inzi just for the sake of hating on him, it just pisses me off when people have this attitude of "inzi is above criticism" even when he's making poor decisions and his brain lapses are as obvious as a mole on cindy crawfords lip.
 
And Inzi smartly picks up the single.

Inzi showing why he is still a class batsman. The field is up to prevent the single, but he needles one any way. :)
 
Ill give Inzi credit to the way he has played over last few overs but that doesnt change the fact that he is just making up for the fatal mistakes he has already commited in this test match.
 
leads up to 82 could be crucial, hope we get it up to 100, then we need to bowl well again.
