Pakistan vs South Africa 2nd test match...Day 2 from Port Elizabeth.

Pak 209/9 ... Lead of 85. Last wkt partnership has added 18 crucial runs in 6.5 overs.

Interesting observation: Out of 6.5 overs (41 deliveries), Asif is scoreless, off 5 deliveries. Inzi has faced the other 36 (88%) and scored 18 runs. Good going!
 
Single of the last ball again, brilliant batting from Inzamam.
 
although I have never bashed Inzi but I always wanted him to do more and come out as a Tiger and I must say, he is making me proud today! Well deserved 50 under the circumstances!!!!!!!!!!!!Great 50

good knock .. but not good enough for me ... he is now showing how he could have made 100+ if he had time in the middle...
 
Lead is now a very useful 88 runs. Asif has only faced 5 balls out of a partnership which has so far lasted 46 balls.

Same here, he hasnt scored a single century for over one year now lets see if he can do that. If he does Ill take back whatever I have said and start an appology to Inzi thread myself.

Question: Since Pakistan is 9-down ... if they reach the time for lunch, will they push it off until the last wicket falls, or 30 minutes, whichever comes first? They used to do that.

Inzi leads by example once again. He might not have secored many runs in the last year but he still remains the backbone of Pakistan cricket...ever so reliable...

PP selectors or no PP selectors PP represents voice of Pakistan cricket fans, this voice is saying Inzi should be dropped untill and unless he scores a century.

Overall YES I agree... in the END yes Inzy has done a good job..

but yes.. I feel he could have done better if he came in to bat when he was eligible.. b/c he is a class batsmen...

really good session for Pakistan.
Lots of credit to Inzi, you can argue that he should have shielded Kaneria and Shoaib but you can't argue the effectiveness of Inzi's innings.

I really am happy for him, I knew he still is as good as any top class performer in the world

Inzis inns is very much like the ones azhar mahmood played in series in late 90s.
 
To Know how good Inzy is , just imagine any....any top class batsmen in his shoes for a moment. You will relize how valuable a palayer he is.

This innings of Inzamam is bringing back memories of his great innings at Multan versus Bangladesh. I would like to see Inzamam get a hundred here. But, regardless of that, he's proven his class once again!
