The RR will keep increasing and by the time Afridi and Razzaq come they have no time to get their eye in and have to go at it from ball 1.

Its history of Pakistan repeating time and time again.

We just make it suicidal and keep putting ourselves in these positions all the time, jus keep making it difficult when it shudnt be!

no. You don't do that by blocking balls.

This strategy might work when we need to chase a relatively low target. But a high target? No chance. We need to get in the mindset of playing positively even with quick wickets down. Focus on racking up the singles.

Misbah at the moment is blocking far too much and not taking enough singles. Umar akmal is playing too many shots he shouldn't have gone after and again not looking for the singles enough.

Usually most teams have still two good batsmen coming down after 4 and 5. So they don't need to shut shop and play like this too. So that might be an excuse. An afridi, razzaq, Sarfaz ahmed batting line up coming after these two unfortunately looks very brittle. I'd have preferred to play a proper batsman at six who's a bit better at milking spin, with both Afridi and Razzaq playing in the same team.
