Interesting report, I wonder if either Irshad or Yasir Ali have been timed recently after refining their actionsMonsee said:Again, let me say that I have only seen them bowl in a couple of games...so don't believe 100% of what I say but surely the truth is some where in there too
Yasir looked more disciplined, better built of the two cause he is taller and when he fills up with age, he will be really built like a young Ian Bishop (i.e. if he works on his fitness from here on), he swung the ball at quite serious pace, and his line-n-length was much better
Irshad is built well for his height but I thought he could become better if he tightened his stomach area which kinda looked pudgy (a la Shoaiby these days), he had just decreased his run up a bit as per advice of Sadiq Mohammed (ext-Test Opener and Multan team's coach now), he had a very powerful approach to the wicket and was building speed towards the end but when I saw him he wasn't looking like the finished product.
Since then he has bowled well in almost in every game that he has been part of so something is going right for him. Maybe he has finally become comfortable with his shorter run up and has worked on his fitness. He swung the ball but I don't have too much recollection of how well he did that
Muddaser said:And well played Zulqarnain for his 34 not out.
Again the only Pakistani batsmen who looked comfortable out there.
kas said:did u watch the match? how do u know he looked comfortabe? are u just assuming he looked comfortable cos he made 34 not out
Muddaser said:I'm assuming cause I have seen him do it many times.
The guy has a better technique than most our specialist batsmen.
kas said:do u think he can challenge akmal?
Amir_rulez said:Zulqarnain is proly a better option than Adnan Akmal and Humayun Farhat in absence of Kamran Akmal.

I really have no clue why they had taken Khalil with to Austrailia? or why Woolmer cant spot the talent in Najaf shah? Yasir Arafat ......Mohammad Irshad......i dont know, personally i like more Yasir Ali. I tell you guys, this bloke is going to be our next Waqar younus. He is fast ( probably the fin the 85-88 zone) and right on target. He was bowling on the right length. Wicket-to-wicket. No idea why they took Rao, Khalil, Sami to Austrailia? a tour like that could have brought more and early success to Shah, Yasir Ali.

Shoaib A said:its such a joke to see england batting like this... but just wait u will see, that they can bat even better against pak... england are experimenting to much with pitch, bowling and batting......![]()
Monsee said:How do you suppose they can do that...they are not in UK, if U didn't notice that![]()

Monsee said:But they also discarded him quickly as they called him another 'Chucker'...his old action was really dodgy
His new action is as clean as it can be though![]()
