Not good. I have experience of working among tableeghi jama-at peoples. The first thing they will do is they approach you. If you take up their ideology then they will happily mingle with you & if you do not accept their ideology they will isolate you & make you feel alien. They will make a team within a team. They start nepotism on the basis religion & the worst part is they will shift the focus from hard working to taqdeer and kismat.

I hope this is not going to happen again.

On a serious note I don't think there can be rational debate on this issue as most opinions will be tinged with personal biases. Personally I don't see the point of such events but if the players attended willingly (I am sure most did) then can't see what the issue is. Most of these players come from a part of the Pakistani society where religion remains the fundamental pillar of every day life and religious figures like the Molana are highly revered. It should also be remembered that most of these guys do not likely share the value system and beliefs that many members of this forum have so I wouldn't be surprised if most of them willingly went to the event. As to the benefits, while most of us here might consider it useless, maybe it was motivational for some of them. I think as long as its not about inculcating a dressing room culture of religiosity (like in the Inzi days) I don't see the harm in one-off events like this. Looking at the pictures, Molana sb looks awfully bored though.
