Jose Callejon joined The Entertainers whilst Martin Skrtel and Artur Boruc arrived on season long deals.
 
Canistani Hero lauded the Rockets for their performance against Royal Mafia FC. The game ended 1-1. "It was a pleasing performance, we could have even won it but I guess it wasn't meant to be, on the whole, it does mean alot to draw against the defending champions and it is something to take forward, even though it was just a friendly"

He also confirmed Georgio Chiellini and Esteban Cambiasso will be rested after picking up knocks in the friendly and promised a start for new signing Artur Boruc in goal.
 
David Villa was injured in the Rockets' 3-0 defeat to Real Fortis on Sunday evening and is all set to miss out on the season opener against the same opponents according to Hero - "Yep, he's taken a blow, we're hoping it's not too serious, if he does miss out, we've still got Lukas (Podolski) and Marco (Reus) vying for that place"
 
Quite a disappointing show so far. Bit unlucky as well with the injuries.
