[MENTION=40952]Batman[/MENTION] can we please add dates and times in the fixtures above at least for first few games?

So for example round 1 starts on Wednesday:

- Match 1 takes place between 11am till 1 pm (Pakistan time)
- Match 2 takes place between 2pm till 4pm (Pak time)
- match 3 takes place between 5pm till 7pm

Again as was discussed to try and make things more interesting.

Just my two cents from the practice games that have been posted. I think they need to be posted in a quicker time - should be finished within 1 -1.30 hrs. That way there is more of chance of everyone to stick around and be more engaged.

Well it's hard to give deadline for every round but we can announce it well before every round the match timings during the matchday and it will be posted one match at a time this season.

There will be deduction of 1 point each.
 
Match Timing

Round 1

Karachi Kings v Multan Sultans to be posted between 12 till 15 PST.

Peshawar Zalmi v Islamabad United to be posted between 15 till 18 PST.

Quetta Gladiators v Lahore Qalandars to be posted between 18 till 21 PST.
 
Please don't mind my inactivity in first innings of Sultans match vs KK. I will be in hospital, in my PPE. 8am to 1pm PST.
Can't take even a sip of water let alone using mobile.

I hope [MENTION=136435]Azan Basit[/MENTION] and [MENTION=133760]Abdullah719[/MENTION] and Sultans will keep the thread busy.

Timing for each round of matches is same according to the order of each round, which is between 12pm to 9pm PST.

It can be delayed or finished earlier.

And olny one match posted at a time.

I have no issues with 8 original teams
But we require more signups for 8 teams. In the old days we had 150 signups. 8 teams needs atleast 80 signups and more importantly 8 competent captains. We are lucky to get 6 good captains this time around. Perhaps you can persuade old timers like Shaz , ibad , Mohan , SLfan etc to return to PCL.

Honestly even if we have 15 per side it should do. That means 120 signups which I feel is doable, with everyone in quarantine these days. As for captains, I feel these 6 (if they are willing) plus maybe myself and [MENTION=55088]Watsupdoc[/MENTION] can take captaincy for the other two teams if needed.

I am all for PPCL returning. I remember those days where we played not only T20s, but FC and One Days as well. Those were the days!

Thanks for posting. Wouldn't the pitch variation be first (48 hours before) and team deadline second (24 hours before)? This is what was done beforehand. Same for playoffs (30/18 instead of 18/30). Or is this being changed?

He means you've 24 hours to post pitch type and 48 hours for XI..

It was same in the first 5 rounds as well total match deadline time was 48 hours with 24 hours pitch variation and further 24 hours for team deadline.

Here it's says team deadline 48 hours means total match deadline 48 hours and you can name the team before 24 hours and after 24 hours but you want to know the pitch first to able to name the right XI.

And for the playoffs we reduced the time to speed up the proceedings that's why given less match deadline compared to the rounds 1 to 10.

So total match deadline is 30 hours, 18 hours pitch variation and further 12 hours for team deadline.
