PSL 2018 Match 30: Karachi Kings comfortably defeat Islamabad United to qualify for playoffs

If KK lose by a big margin they might be out of the tournament and MS would go to the next round.
 
KK to bowl. Ronchi, Patel, Sami out, Walton, Finn and Gohar in for IU. Still no Sahibzada.
 
KK should win. Want them in the next round. While KK rejects MS go home.

KK hopefully wins. I am very disappointed in KK that they don't include young players..

He was given a couple of chances at the wrong position. However I agree is not the optimal T20 player and is more suited to ODIs but he has the ability to go big once settled in. 13 matches isn't that big a sample size plus I have seen him play in the domestic league where he scored 4 50s in a row, so definetly has potential. PSL is mostly a stage to bring out domestic talent and since IU have already qualified for the past couple of games and with Ronchi rested he should have been given a chance.
 
Shinwari-Amir Combo could be great followed by Hasan, Faheem, Shadab ...
 
It's a bit unfair for MS, because they have completed their fixture with other teams having 2 games left to do necessary calculation. On top of that, IU has put an under strength side today.

However, KK has Afridi - the perennial choker of cricket, who has unreal quality of influencing teammates in choking - did many times for Karachi teams and this year even with that squad Dhaka Dynamite lost to Raiders!!!!! Anything over 150 (165), KK might miss the cut.

Agree, he has potential but needs to improve his SR in t20s. PSL is more difficult than domestic as well. I think if you've not fully developed your game(t20) then it's very difficult to play well in PSL(where bowlers tend to do very well).
 
Many ppl hate Irfan jnr but looks a potential to me. Has improved a lot this season

Naa, when he's bad he's really bad, ala Wahab, Sami etc, can lose you the match single handedly. Have many other players above him in the pecking order.
 
Misbah may as well play aggressively. If he gets a few bounties it will help us get some runs, if he gets out our batting line up is big enough to recover.
 
Come on Misbah don't cost IU the match. I assume when the spinners come out then Misbah is going to play his shots.
 
This is not fair for Multan - Misbah has come to bat at 4!!!!!

Nope. Meaningless game for Islamabad so may as well use it as batting practice for the out of form guys and give the bench players a game.
 
Fahim hasn't had many chances with the bat , I would send him in next . Also would like to see Amad Butt batting.
 
You know you are too old for the game when Afridi is beating you for pace... It's ok its working in our favour today
 
I can't believe people still try and cut Afridi off a good length

I understand that but why Misbah. He shouldn't even be playing this tournament as he is clearly not good enough anymore.bhes blocking other desverving players.
 
Looks like its NESL (No Empty Seats League) today. Stadium sold out.
 
Afridi doesn't celebrate Misbah's wicket... well done. I guess some teenagers mature early :afridi
