Shezad is more careful than he should've been. he needs to take some chances or try to disturb bowlers line

Seriously lack of aggression AND improvisation.

They are both playing for survival. I guess the scoreboard is still better than before, so thats the good news

A few overs without wickets and suddenly doubts over SA toss decision - haha - commies are so fickle.

i think everyone is in shock including pak fans how come we haven't lost a wicket so far , lagta hai aaj ham pakistaniun ke dua qabool hogai

These guys are using the same UAE tactics of 3 an over until 30 and it won't work here

They are facing world's best bowling, 30 or so from 10 overs would be good as long as we don't lose any wickets.

are you crazy? We are off to a great start!.. compared to what we've done in the past. Now against RSA you want them to show aggression and "improvisation" within the first 7 overs!\??

Shehzad doesn't rotate strike, gets himself under pressure playing all the dots then starts playing stupid shots to get out of pressure

Freaking Shezad is putting more pressure on Serfraz. He is gonna do something stupid!

hope Sarfraz doesnt throw away his wicket , he is looking good can score ton here if he survives

First single for Shahzad in the innings after 7 overs.

Steady start for Pakistan.

Well on a positive, 25-0 is much better than 25-1. Safraz opening has somewhat helped but both are getting bogged down, as long as there are no risks and they don't lose wickets, I think 250+ will be competitive on this pitch.

Shehzad can be a world class bat only if learns to rotate the strike.

Has all the shots and ingredients otherwise.

Looks like a good batting wicket. I like the way Pak is batting, at least they haven't completely shut the shop.

This is a decent start.

Batsmen looking reasonably comfortable.

Rotate the strike and punish the bad ball.

What was all this fauss about his technique by both Waqar and Misbah

Misbah, you blew it!!!

We should not be worried about run rate right now, lets get solid platform first then we can accelerate in few overs.

no matter how much sarfaraz scores he should open now in all the matches..he is very confident

Good start, but they must kick on.
At least one must get a hundred having worked hard to seen off the new ball

So why are not bagging de Villiers for taking off steyn so quickly despite playing only 4 full time bowlers.

Where are those who said Sarfra will fail and has no technique and blah blah....

26-0 better than the sum of the opening partnerships of the first 4 matches in this WC.

even South Africa were 30-1 in 10 overs and they scored 400+

but we can at least score 290-300 from here.. if we capitalize the start

already the number of dots reaching to an alarming point. No swing or movement in the bowling
