Im just highlighting the fact that Malik has a tremendous record versus India and the fact that most people were glad that Malik wasnt in the squad to face India and at the same time fancied their chances of winning was extremely silly.
These people know who they are. I dont want to be childish and say things like 'IN YOUR FACE!' so Im just gonna keep it moving.

You answered your own question. He is not called "Professor" for no reason. Between he is a permanent for ODIs. For tests though, captain needs to be a proper test match player, I would recommend "Younis Khan" after Misbah's retirement and "Azhar Ali" as VC.

Mushtaq Mohammad was one man responsible for change in attitude of Pakistani cricketers playing abroad. Our players use to give up without a fight in Aus and Eng before he took over as captain in mid 70s.
He was like Ganguly of Pak cricket who brought a positive change of attitude in Pak cricket.

what's more important to play flashy or take responsibility to win the match?
In Final, when setting the target he scored with 90+ SR and remained not out.
in Semi, while chasing 213 his SR: 68
vs NBP, chasing 232, SR 78+
so it's very clear that Malik is unique play who plays as situation demands and have all the gears.
one more thing, most of his runs came as single and doubles.

IF scored in two matches(2 100) and won the game for team but failed most of the times...
Malik didn't score a hundred but with 4 50s won all important games.

The guy showed good domestic form, and was given a chance at international. A long run in my opinion. Which something I thought he deserved (in fact he got an even longer run than I would have given him), he had a decent/average international record and looked to be improving before he lots captaincy. He made runs in First class and limited overs and impressed with the ball. So I had no problem with him being in the team.
He was given a chance and failed. And the reason he did fail because mentally he just wasn't there. He was a gonner. Looks like he still hasn't recovered from the loss of captaincy. People will say "malik was always this crap", but he wasn't. It was shocking, the guy didn't even look like a batsman, he looked and averaged like a tailender.
Him getting runs in domestic doesn't mean anything now. We all know he's doing well in domestic. It's not simply a question of regaining batting form. It's his psychological issues he's got to address before we can even think of him coming back. There's really no point bringing him back now. He'll just fail again.
He's got to go back to domestic and we'll leave him there for probably 1 to 2 years, and he'll have to solidly perform there (regularly topping domestic tournaments in all formats ideally). Which he is doing at the moment. In that time he should if possible get some professional help to help him get through those mental issues.
After he's done that, we can perhaps consider him. If we exhausted all our youngster options and there's a place in the team for him to come in to.

regarding hundreds, if someone scores 100 consistently then i am glad...
but 2 100s in 7 matches is is no match to 4 50s in 6 completed innings..
IF failed in final whereas Malik performed best in semi and bettered it in final.

Malik sucks. Hasn't scored over 39 in 30 international innings. The worst top order batsman I have ever seen in the past 2 years. A disgrace to batsmanship.
