See if a player is helpful to the team, then us fans dont have a problem with them playing, but malik has been out of form for a LONG TIME! So dont think we should burn the spot for him, rather have some youngster play at that position. and we had coaches with zero coaching experience.

Hope that Wat would note that it was Malik's captaincy that was the main difference for this T20, Faisal T20 (that happened few months ago) and ODI championship that he won for PIA.

Only common factor is captain.

However, Younis Khan IS a pride of Pakistan considering we only have a handful of 50+ test average batters in our cricketing history.

Malik is not a batsman or bowler of international class...
As a bowler he is not the best Spinner in Salkiot Stalion Team (Hassan and Rehman are before him), forget about Pakistan.
As a batsman he has played 30+ tests and tried to comeback 13 times, that shows you how skillful he is as a batsman, this despite being Captain and appears to have lot of TC Skills or sources up the ranks in PCB...
He is not better than any of our top four spinners (Ajmal, Rehman, Afridi, Hafeez)... Do we want to bring him as a batsman?? - There are many other who are much better than him, even in this T20 Super 8 tournament...
What he has done recently at international level, against England and or even Bangladesh???
If people here are so supportive of Malik, then this forum will start to loss the value we think it bring to the Pakistan Cricket followers... A tried and test failure to be brought back for no good reason...
