A fantastic awe-inspiring 59 from Hasan Ali has given Pakistan a chance to make a game of the 2nd ODI as they are bowled out for 203

I think Hussain Talat might be a decent bowling option here.
 
Time to win this! We defended a similar score out of the jaws of defeat in Durban back in 93! Time to repeat history.
 
Tough, but not impossible.

Pak will need to bowl their skin out, especially with the new ball.

Never seen him bowl much wish we selected Amir instead of him. Usually scores runs in tough situations as well Amir. But oh well, we’ll still win
 
So who should open the bowling? I know it will be Faheem/Shaheen but the momentum that Hasan has I would want him to open the bowling 3/4 overs along with Shaheen.
 
Yes Husain talat with his pace and bowling cutters. We will miss the spin of Imad also.
We needed 220 so can make a game if it inshaAllah.
Just need a couple of early strikes
 
Didn't watch the innings but how did the pitch play? I heard it would be similar to PE? The score doesn't reflect that though. Was it just poor batting?

He’s an ok medium pacer. SA’s medium pacers did well here by keeping it on a good length
 
Reckon Hussain will be a handful here with his various variations. Chirps of the 2015 world cup game between these two are being heard
 
50 runs short but take 3 early wickets and Saffers are always a good chance to choke.

But really poor batting from Pakistan.
 
This innings by hasan will create a short term sugar rush of about 5 to 8 overs, they have get a boatload of wickets in that time

They had AB and an in form Amla, as well as JP Duminy in that XIm

Our bowlers were ; Wahab, Irfan, Rahat, Sohail Khan, and Afridi

Finally boundaries were extremely small like 50-60m, and we still won :)) I don’t know how!
 
What is wrong with Fakhar Zaman. Honestly the way he was batting today was just horrilble. He was not allowed any room to hit and he was getting annoyed. Instead of thinking we lost 3 wickets and he should remain there to bat till 50 overs he wanted to hit out. His temperament is terrible, he cant go on like thjs, he needs to show more responsibility otherwise he will cost us in the WC. This attitude of aggressive playing needed to be used correctly. I rather have Umar Akmal than him if its continue like this.

Nah, I’d rather have taken Amir than him, he’s someone who’s very hard to hit and would of been a handful on this pitch, by continuously hitting the right line/length. Imad barely spins the ball and only gets the odd one here and there to turn.

How atleast he will play proper strokes and can bat for 10 overs. This guy is talented but he has horrible temperament. He cant last 5 overs when u see him bat. Umar akmal is much better than him. Sorry to say but its a fact.

Mate joke apart but fakhar has 1 gear hit or block. He has talent but he needs to show more responsibility and take him to bat for long period, u dont become good batsmen but scoring quick 20 and get out. He reminds me of nazir he has same disease of doung that.
 
winning this game or not that's different but our batting is just in shambles can't rely on them.

its a fact Ahemd Shezad and Umar AKmal are two wasting talents but its their own faults

Yeah and like 7 years wasn’t enough to judge your golden boy. This is the problem with Pak Cricket. People never think about investing in new players and moving forward. Oh someone’s failing, fans yeah let’s bring back this TTF, and repeat. It’s a reason why our cricket is lacking and we are behind teams like India and England. We back the players with so called “talent” and the hard workers that are churning up and grinding out the runs get chopped. International cricket is not where anyone deserves to play because they play aesthetic shots. Fakhar Zaman hasn’t had a great tour of SA yeah, but what did your boy do last time he toured SA? Fakhar has been a fairly consistent enough batsman who will continue be so. He is being rightfully invested in as he is fit and a good batsman on flat pitches.
 
Just fight to the end, get maximum possible wickets and make them sweat
 
If ICC had an award called "The biggest forehead of the year", we all know who's going to get it. :afridi
 
We will need to bowl SA here if we are to sneak a win.
