Sad but true.

ODI cricket needs a number 1 side like test cricket has at the moment. So India needs to win this match for the sake of the formart. Otherwise they are nothing but home and flat track bullies.

India needs to make a statement. They need to not just win, they need to win with a bonus point. Chase this down in 40 overs! That would make a statement.

maybe in 25 overs?? and then flyover to Ozland and help the Aussie batters and then fly back to SA to make Steyn our beech .....

Only in a format like ODI's can a team have both the worst bowling line up and best batting line up and still be considered the best team in the world.

Steyn is currently the best fast bowler in the both format. He gets it right from the ball one.

Sharma looks paralysed against Steyn who is bowling a fiery spell atm. He just needs to wait till Steyn is taken off and then try and score runs against Morkel and Tsotsobe

And in T20;s and incase you checked cricket has only 3 formats .....

In hit and giggle you don't need to have the best of anything. Just need to keep it together for 20 overs :umarakmal

Steyn hasn't said a word to him yet..

We got plenty of overs in the kitty- we let Steyn have his steam.... our batters might fail but BCCI wont :asif

Even rohit knows that he can touch bat to ball only on flat deck ... Overrated player

Steyn will be happy to bowl those out swingers, lol.

:4 from Dhawan. He's not going to be intimidated

Remind us where we won the CT?

yeah sure. Won it in England against sides that were under strength.
And those pitches were very flat. A different story when you play England in an ODI series is it not? What was the score line when you last toured there?

No problem. india will chase it. Its not like this is their first time. but two maidens and you gtuys really let things go at the end. they were 200 odd at 36 overs i think. and reached 348. Bolwers let india down big time.

Dhawan looks more composed under pressure, then again he hasn't had to face Steyn yet. Nohit just has to survive another couple of overs

lol : Steyn to RG Sharma, no run, forget a nervous Rohit, this would have troubled even the best in these conditions! Lands on off and middle, bounces and nearly shaves the glove, had to play at it, top class pace bowling
