Is he blind... every south african batsmen got starts and we stopped them. at one point they were 199 for 4 and we took them out for 253. south africa who wanted to bat first was not expecting this. an all out on the first day.

The funny thing is, Dale Steyn doesn't actually have an inswinger (ie, outswinger to the left hander). He has a straighter delivery (as opposed to his natural outswing) but it's not really an inswinger.

Sorry to say but hafeez has totally pawned ajmal today!

Cricket is a funny game... We were thinking Ajmal will run through tail, but Hafeez golden touch came in handy. Ajmal will get better as the series progress... I am not too worried about him... He will be vital in second innings...

With Hafeez staggering success against leftys specially with new ball, you never know he open the balling in next innings with Smith on strike...

I agree though, that he should play, but it's not ideal conditions. I think he'll do well regardless, he's a very good batsman.

Very good bowling by Pakistan but this isn't a easy pitch to bat on. The batsmen need to apply themselves and be very selective with their shots. Azhar and Shafiq might come good here.
