:))) :))) Kumble sour grapes bowling a bouncer after being reverse swept for four.

Very nearly took Parthiv's head (with helmet) with it!

SL win by 8 wickets.

Win the series 2 - 1.

Mahela scores the winning runs, and brings up his 50.

It was a great achievent for Srilanka considering the fact that they had lost the toss!

Sri Lanka were dominant throughout the series. Barring Shewags 200, they were in control - played better, more exciting cricket. Good on them.

Does anyone know what the score was last time Pak played in Sri Lanka?

A classic from cricinfo commentary feedback:

Selvam: "I think rather Kumble should "Review" his bowling and the Fab 4's position after this series. " :)

Had it not been for Sehwag's innings, India would have lost 3-0.

We actually beat the Sri Lankans 1-0 in 2006 but then again that was thanks to Asif but Malik played the innings of his life against Murali and Co on a turning track but Vaas didnt play the series 148 notout on the final day to save that test match. But Sri Lankans had Malinga, Mahroof who are more potent bowlers.

So overall Pak really deserved to win that series.

Fantastic series that was except for the Afridi incident.... followed by the disastrous England tour....

That goes without saying

I'm glad Sehwag didn't score in this match, because public and media knives are out in full force for fab 5, openly stating that they should be kicked OUT if they don't walk

Badrinath coming for ODIs at last! Although I feel Dravid still has cricket left in him, certainly the other 4 need to think of alternative careers like commentary or umpiring.

I think you guys are over reacting. A tour of Sri Lanka is always tough. Had Mendis not been in the Indian team, i think this would have been a very dull series.

Dont forget Ganguly just recently as of Nov 2007 scored his maiden double century. Dravid needs time in the middle, so does Laxman. Tendulkar we know is all class. The fact these guys dont feature in ODI's makes it difficult for them to get going immediately in tests. I expect these to hang around for another couple of years. They are good enough for flat Indian, Pakistani Wickets. Sri Lankan wickets are on the slow side generally.
