Short video of yesterday under heading Pakistan strong against Tasmania
we have the better bowlers, it's understandableRandom Aussie said:For those who blasted the Pak openers for scoring slowly in the first session, Tasmania have scored 35 runs off 20 overs.

He's a lot better then Abdur Rauf in my opinion.
Tasmania batting poorly.

I heard commentators on ABC during WI and Aus match and they were saying Australia better watch out, Pakistan wont give you any chances like WI have; still winning after getting bowled out for 150. They were saying Pakistan are toiling with Tasmania bowlers as if they were club cricketers. they were worried that twice they were bowled out for a low score against WI series; what would they do against the world class bowling (and fielding ?) side of Pakistan. Ponting said in radio interview that all bowlers(Hilfenhus, Siddle including) and himself should be fit to face Pakistan on Boxing day.Extreme Pace said:Tasmania are currently 4th in the Sheffield Shield out of six teams, they have won 1, lost 2 and drawn 2.

I was just wondering, when the pessimists will step in. You just saved my day.Extreme Pace said:I guess the Aussie commentators haven't seen Pakistan playing Test cricket for while.
Well, that was a practice series, the real test cricket between 2 great sides begins next weekExtreme Pace said:I guess the Aussie commentators haven't seen Pakistan playing Test cricket for while.

Afridi_Fan said:OZGOD what you think of Tasmania's team? Their bowling and batting? I only know about Geeves and Paine.
So this performance doesn't mean that much, eh?OZGOD said:They're coming 4th out of 6th for a reason, put it that way. They're pretty ordinary. But they were playing on their home ground.
Afridi_Fan said:So this performance doesn't mean that much, eh?
That's one way of looking at it. Another is that 2 of the 4 Pakistan first choice bowlers have only managed two wickets between them I hope though that Rauf 'Khan' plays instead of Gul...!Random Aussie said:All the bowlers have taken wickets, including the 2 who should be playing the Test match (Aamer and Rauf Khan) next week. Ajmal has taken wickets and he will be needed in Sydney.
Afridi_Fan said:So this performance doesn't mean that much, eh?
So true.OZGOD said:It actually means quite a bit. It's a prep match and you will create momentum with a good win. Plus it's a seaming wicket and you handled it reasonably well. Anytime you win a warmup in such a dominant fashion in foreign conditions it bodes well. Then again, you're Pakistan - who knows which Pakistan will turn up? You could roll us for 150 and at the same time have us declaring at 4/600
Well these days you can't be sure which Australia will turn up, they could be declaring at 600/4 or collapse for 150Then again, you're Pakistan - who knows which Pakistan will turn up? You could roll us for 150 and at the same time have us declaring at 4/600
