I don't understand that generalization myself. There are 28 states down here, all are different by one stroke or another. So looking 'Indian' is a misnomer by itself, and a huge encapsulation.

There are probably fewer of these bifurcations within Pakistan.

Pakistanis are lighter than Indians. They are also bulkier and tend to be taller too. Not always true as I have seen some real short Pakistanis. Just my observation.

I agree that Pakistanis tend to wear expensive clothing. Indians most of the time settle for a Jeans pant and a T-shirt.

Language is different. So talking style is also different.

Most of the times, you can easily tell a south indian from a Pakistani. South Indians are more closer to Lankans.

Basically we can easily tell a part Indians from Pakistanis except if the man is from Rajasthan/Punjab/Haryana/Jammu Kashmir/Himachal.

Most students coming to UK, USA Universities from India come form South Indian states of Andhra, Kerala, Tamilnadu. Hence you see them in universities more often. They look different to Pakistanis.
