What's new

The NEW post pictures of yourself thread

I think this thread should be deleted. A lot of people are uncomfortable revealing their identity but are okay with posting their pictures, and the stalkers cannot help themselves.

Honest suggestion, Slog look into it. This thread truly serves no purpose.

Here is a safety tip for people who want to post pictures without exposing their identity:

Don't reuse pictures that are online elsewhere.

Its a bit of a contradiction to begin with

You want your identity to remain private but are willing to post your pic

kinda like shooting your own foot

Don't be a spoilsport Mamoon :sanga

I'm not, but people are obviously not comfortable with being stalked, but nor can they help themselves by not posting pictures, and the stalkers don't have control over themselves either.

Why create this situation in the first place? Doesn't make any sense.

I concur. Please Slog or any admin remove the posts by stalkers and a friendly warning should be put for people who post their pics.

Report such posts I guess.

Clearly not a realistic proposition to go through 70 pages and scour such posts

Everyone Please Take Note

You share your pictures at your own risk and doing so is your own call and any consequence is on you.

While I understand that while sharing pictures is not same as sharing identity but there is still a chance of that from what I gather so do it at your own discretion

As slog said, if your that uncomfortable revealing your identity then you shouldn't be even posting your pics and there should be no intro threads as well.

People don't have control over posting their pics and stalkers don't have control over their stalking tendencies...looks to me like they are a perfect match for each other.

Good tip, or Google pic search is easy as pie.

That's an embarrassing old picture, I was around 18 at that time; somewhere around 2010.

Got hold of my friend's camera at his house. Everything is wrong with it, the hair, the camera, the background, the shirt etc.

Will upload a recent one soon.

You are the first person to visit someone's house and take selfie with their digit camera.

Yeah, I do look young for my age, but how many Pathans have you seen to conclude they look twice their age?

Quote my comment, I won't be notified if you comment under. We have lots of Pathans here in Canada. Esp in traditional immigrant areas. We have many in our school and league crickets too. Pathans always get their ids checked during school and u-19 matches.

I actually had a sleepover, which interestingly enough, is another thing of the past. Don't fancy it any more.

Maybe because I'm half Pathan (Mum isn't), and she is 51 but looks around 30.

Good to see everyone's handsome faces.

Thivagar looks like Batista.

Brother Mamoon needs to grow a long beard :moyo

Why does it feel like I've seen you somewhere.

I live in downtown.. between Concordia and McGill, and I attended McGill for Mechanical Engineering until 2014. My work is in Brossard near Quartier Dix30. Are any of these places you frequent?

Just downtown. Hopefully I'll be going to either McGill or Concordia for engineering next year, still in Vanier. How's mechanical engineering? Did you do the co-op program? And how often do you visit Parc Ex, if at all?

They must've paid a lot, it's not easy getting in to McGill, let alone being a foreign student. I guess engineering is easy to get in to but not anything medical science related.

Oh hit up some names, I'm sure I would have known them. All the desis know each other..

McGill doesn't have a co-op program, you can get an internship and if you intern for more than 8 months they put Engineering Internship Program on your degree once you graduate..

I visit Parc Ex quite often actually, specifically Jean Talon. There is this restaurant called Sana, I go there frequently. Also every weekend I drive to Desi Mandi right next to Sana for meat and desi groceries and stuff..

I disagree with not easy getting into McGill.

Its awaami. Every tom dick and harry gets in if they can pay enough. Good university though!

Yeah right! I literally live couple blocks away from Sana Restaurant.. I hear Concordia is the better uni for Engineering, how was your experience?

Sure it's 'awaami' but not every tom dick and Harry can get in to McGill. Probably the 'useless' programs such as education, arts, music and engineering to a certain extent are easy to get in to. But the Medicine, Dentistry, Physical therapy are quite hard actually. For medicine IIRC you need a 32 R Score which is quite high unless you're a genius.

im sure we know mutual people. i know pretty much all of karachi based class of 2014.

dont think its ok to share name on a forum

When posting pictures on forums, people should upload them on an imgur account first. It removes exif data (which can be used to track you down) and, if you delete the picture on your account, it also deletes it on the forum so you don't have to ask mods to remove it.

Syed, do people attending english universities in Montréal speak French?

Depends, but for the most part yeah, unless you're a foreign student.

This thread is basically about guys complimenting other guys about how chiselled aesthetics they are :butt

And what is wrong with that? Women can compliment each other's appearance without sounding weird or gay. I think men should have that luxury too.
