My brothers-in-law suggest a book which should contain poetry, quotes etc., my thoughts on religion and a chapter dedicated to comic stories from my life.

The angel quote by the way was meant for a very special person:53:.

Looking forward to reading your book :D

I would love to become a gourmet chef and make the finest and most artistic food. Work in France preferably, but my parents would be taunted forever because their son is a bawarchi. :usman

How excessive is excessive?

I used to take 3 tablets of panadol extra almost everyday for a good 2-3 weeks during my A level mocks..

Didn't work out. I felt brain-dead during exams. It was then I realised there is no replacement for decent sleep

Will certainly be beneficial for others out there.. Good luck!

Hmmm.... I do have a wish that I shouldn´t die when my physical being will.

You seem like one fan of me. I have some more comedy stuff readied but just need a permission from the moderation team whether I can post those screenshots on the forum.

Stay tuned.....

Depends on the individual's threshold but never take any kind of medicine unless its unavoidable. Natural remedies are the best.

When I visit France I'll be sure to come check your restaurant out. ;)

I wish that too. For that, I'll have to see if there's some talent in me :))

I'm caught in practicality and philosophy. I don't know how it'll turn out, tbh.

Ohh okay :)

I'm not sure, there's a joke that what ever happens to you, if your Pakistani your parents will tell you to have paracetamol :P

Thats true :))

Yh your posts are different, very different (in a good way), most of your posts are read as poems and some stories you tell are funny :))

Most definitely (Y)

As far as I know, they're the same, 96*

I'm thinking of going to Splice on Sunday or Saturday. Hopefully Afridi will be there :D I've heard the food there sucks but who cares if Afridi's there :D

You can phone Splice and ask them if he's coming and the food there is actually good.

Nice one Mamoon :))

Or maybe coz Afridi and other Cricketers came that day + 14th August so food might of been extra special.

Hopefully I'll visit Lahore some day soon, maybe I'll check out Splice while I'm at it. :D

"A successful man will always be the one who will blame himself for all his failures in life."

*My quote.*

Well if they prepare extra special food for certain people, they are very unprofessional.

I don't see anything wrong with making special food on a special day. Even if it was the same food maybe you should have tried something else.

The food should be consistently of the same quality. Guest, days etc shouldn't influence the quality but I guess the restaurant reflects the man himself. :afridi

If one day the food is different, it doesn't really matter. As i said, the food may have been the same but i'm pretty sure you never ate everything there, you can't judge the restaurant from one meal like you can't judge how good a batsman is from any one shot.

Wrong. Batting is a battle between a bowler and a batsman. The batsman can't come on top every time.

A restaurant doesn't battle anyone and therefore, there should be and there isn't any inconsistency in quality of food and presentation when it comes to top restaurants. You can't have off days because those customers are unlikely to come back again.

In Afridi's case it is slightly different though, because most people are interested in meeting him only rather than the quality of the food which is a shame. So perhaps Afridi can and does get away with inconsistency even in his restaurant.

Why on Earth would a restaurant announce on twitter that a celebrity is coming?? The poor fella probably wants to enjoy a dinner peacefully without being mobbed by fans. If i was him id cancel and go somewhere else.

And i dont know if im the only one, but i barely know any of my family members birthdays. They're just too hard to memorise!!(that and im not too concerned about it lol)

The celebrity in question is loved by the whole country and OWNS the restaurant. :P

Wrong? So you can judge a batsman by 1 shot he plays? What about in nets if you see a batsman play just 1 good shot you can't assume that he plays every shot well.

I never said anything about having off days but different people have different taste buds.

Agree with the last part though alot of people come just because it's his restaurant so the food doesn't have to fulfil consumer satisfaction to attract customers.

Maybe you didn't like it because the restaurant is associated with a Pakistani Cricketer :yk

bl, never say that "I just followed X on twitter" because that is a very easy way for someone to stalk you.

For example, if I say that I followed Afridi on twitter, you can to Afridi's Twitter immediately at that time and you'd find me at the very top of the list or at least in the top 3 because the possibility of 4/5 people following him at the same time is pretty low.

Just be careful in the future.

I think if he wants to have a peaceful dinner he might go somewhere else but goes to Splice to enjoy time with his fans.

I think Mamoon hates the restaurant because the quality of food isn't quite high.

Food is his life. :D

How do you propose I say happy birthday to him? I'm out of touch with him... My childhood best friend... :6::6:

Hey! We missed you today, hope everything's alright? - 96*

J/K :)) I don't think you need to be too concerned - just write out that its been so long since they've talked, and wish him happy bday, and say you'll maintain contact now :)

Wow, that happens? I thought all the people got jumbled up or something.
