I got 4 exams next week (2 relatively easy, 1 hard) + Economics Unit 2. Economics is a resit (I didn't revise the first time around  ). There's quite abit that I've forgotten of that Unit, the exams next Wednesday, so when do you think I should start revising for it and when should I start attempting past papers?

Hows your prep for the other 3?

I'm trying to write something. I just.. felt something snap inside- the words literally burst forth into some messed up, amateur poetry.

I feel it has some potential. I'll try taming it into a coherent piece.

FP3 (hard one) and C1 Monday, Economics Wednesday, and C2 Thursday. After that the rest are from 3rd June onwards.

Mamoon how do you study medicine after spending so much time on PP?
I have a semester next week and I have so much to cover :(

Being perceived much older than you really are is as worse as being perceived younger than your actual age.

Similarly, when people talk about time ki papandi, they always focus on people who come late but never on people who came way earlier than they should. That is inappropriate as well.

Hmmm.. I wonder how much you guys perceive my age as.
Let me guess. Mamoon is around 22.
96no is 17...

I study around 2 hours daily, literally. Whether it is Eid or any sort of holiday, I don't miss a day. Its part of my daily routine.

People make it harder for themselves than it actually is. A lot of my friends don't touch the books all year and start pulling all nighters during exams. I can't do that, which is why I have to study a bit daily.

Helps me manage. Medicine is not as difficult as people make it sound, but they key is regular work. 2/3 hours per day should suffice.

What is your obsession with rickshaw drivers?

I would like to introduce it in Manhattan to provide a cheaper alternative to yellow cabs but looks like folks in Pakistan deem it as an insult to drive a rickshaw and earn a halal living?

This is what I do unfortunately
I have to do 5 chapters of anatomy and 2 chapters of embryology as well as other stuff in the next 5 days.
Which reminds me, please tell me of any good videos for embryology 4th week onwards if you know of any because neither of Kaplan /
Najeeb have covered that and I lose my concentration free a while reading it from KLM :(

Alright. Prioritise the ones on Monday, esp. the hard one. Make sure you bring it to at least 90%.
Divide the Econ course/syllabus into 3 parts equally: be done with learning the course syllabus by Saturday (you'll need Sunday to revise for your other exams).
From Monday onwards, revise your Thursday exam, and begin with pastpapers for econ. You don't have enough time to write out complete answers, so make pointers and move on. At least do pastpapers uptil 2012 (including all variants and sessions).

That's how I would approach it, if I were you. Good luck!

I love caramel popcorn.
you gonna create a complexity of marriage thread discussing how and why its near impossible to get married to popcorn, discuss the reasons why you love and how to mate with caramel popcorn to produce offspring?

What is it about?

I'm not sure as yet. It would work if I could objectify my muse. Use that as a describtory point.

It might read across as some lady by the seaside or in a field.

I'll see where it takes me. This is one of the rare instances where the idea is writing itself out, and not me doing the writing.

Using it thru iPhone and can't seem to find a way to access the last page of a thread from the main menu.
I had to take the following route
Forum > Time Pass > Topic-less Thread > [page 10 >]

Increasing the number of clicks to navigate to the same destination in the name of improvement is never an impressive innovation.

This is purely a personal choice.

I have now been using and testing this for a month and find it easy to use.

If you dont find this an improvement then you are free to vote with your feet - no one is holding you down.

Well KLM is your best shot if you want a high score.

Do you have Langman's medical embryology?

MIG - sometimes forums have light/dark themes. Does v4 come with that option? I think the current setting is too bright :/

I personally don't find videos much helpful. Kaplan's slides are good if you have them.

Okay, thanks alot again! Your help, wisdom and experience is highly appreciated :D

Ohh yhh, it might be hard to write the next few sentences but when the words come they just come and flow nicely. Good luck!

Anyone graduated in Economics from a British uni ?

Sounds like a random question, but it isn't.

Feels weird for this thread to be so active, after it had been dormant for for such a long period.

I volunteered for my local charity shop for a while, met a Pakistani guy there who had. Apparently Economics at Uni has alot more Maths in it than A-Levels.

Yep I've checked several uni websites millions of time and hence why I'm doing A level Maths.

Yh most Uni's want Maths and quite alot would be happy with an AS at least in Further Maths (though it's not necessary).

Nostalgic let me down.

Sorry! Was only able to access the forum just now.

So, to recap, you tried Step 1, and she gave you an I-know-what-you're-up-to look, right? That's promising. Tell me the details.

My questions for you are, do you ever have tests or homework assignments that you hand to her? Also is there something about what she's teaching that you could discuss at length with her in more detail?

Nope, but I can do a test and ask her about something.

I only have 2-3 sessions with her left because my physics will finish in early June (one exam will be next week and one in June).

Lool Had to be man. If you ever watched WWE you'd understand man...the rocks a legend.
Yeah, I know the Rock. One of the few wrestlers I know.

I love the way he insults people. :D

Wow you're good. :)

You're in med school, so that would make you, I don't know? 19?

"My belief in angels was well rewarded when I found you."

*My quote.*

Can I use it for her in the future?
Yeah sure, but by putting this at the end, "Saint Rawal, 21st century philosopher."

Anyways, you might like the one below too, probably my most famous one amongst my followers:

"I feared for you in this world; I made for you a place in my heart: comforting, full of peace, love and compassion."

Perhaps.. I won't lie, thora sa dil bhi nahi hay wapis janay ka.

Khair. Kuch paanay ke liye kuch khona parta hay.

Aaj kafi garmi hay lahore mein dubara

Since you have had many crushes in life, try this one:

"Love might be for others, love and madness is for you alone."

But, give me the credit, okay;-)?

Forgot to thank Afridi96 and Haroon786 for their comments in the previous page :)

And I don't take paracetamol unless I feel like I will die from the pain - having some chai abhi, hopefully it will fix things.

I think its because my sleeping patterns are messed up again

I won't tell her about my other crushes and affairs. :adnan

Dhoni-bhai, you should publish a book!

My brothers-in-law suggest a book which should contain poetry, quotes etc., my thoughts on religion and a chapter dedicated to comic stories from my life.

The angel quote by the way was meant for a very special person:53:.
