Shinsuke Nakamura v AJ Styles! it was a beautiful match and both proved they are easily amongst hte P4P best on the planet, AJ doesn't need the WWE and I don't care if he doesn't jump ship because ever since he left TNA he has gone on to become an even bigger star and his run on a creative level has also been phenomenal; anyhow the dream match lived up to the hype! I'd give i 4.5 stars, the final stretch was incredible, both are brilliant at selling and the physicality was insane. If there was one wrestler who I would be cool with defeating Lesnar CLEAN on the planet right now and it being absolutely justifiable, it would be Shinksuke Nakamura; i'd seriously have no issues with it.

Reports coming in that the WWE have signed AJ Styles and Shinksuke Nakamura!!!!! it's unbelievable, I can understand Shinsuke being signed, he is slightly younger then AJ, he's an absolute mega star and incredibly charismatic and with the Network releasing in Japan it's perfect timing. Shinsuke can sacrifice a pay cut at the expense of possibly getting over as a main-eventer should creative back him but AJ Styles damn I never thought I'd see this day, he was making close to a million in Japan and at his age I didn't think the WWE would ever sign him but I think they may have changed their minds after his career defining runs in Japan; he can still go and is amongst the best in the world, but it's interesting because I wonder what their contracts/deals are; am pretty sure they were both given main-roster contracts. No way would AJ have accepted a contract which was substantially low then what he was making in Japan.

Why would they put the title on debutantees, AJ has a pretty decent fanbase but even then a big portion of the WWE audience don't know who he is and the same can be said for Nakamura; they will get over one day and when the timing is right and if creative back them hopefully surely they'll get main-event runs. And they've killed the concept ) the greatest royal rumble of all time was for the WWE title, in fact I've not been so excited for the Royal Rumble in years! this has the potential to be one of the best in recent times when you look at what's at stake and all the possible scenarios in the match itself, absolutely brilliant! and what's even more ridiculous is that WWE are giving away the PPV free to new subscribers! I guess it's a good move to entice them into keeping their subscription for mania season .

In this era if the high ups listened to IWC Tards there probably wouldn't be in business despite how awful the product already is, the truth is IWC Tards are borderline mentally disabled and they really are not in touch with what's good and what's bad; they are living of attitude era nostalgia which wasn't even the greatest period in wrestling on a creative level.

Also, Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles have been signed by the WWE on the background of the Japan getting WWE Network announcement! Your thoughts???? Would you believe it! Am so interested to see what their contracts are.

Both those matches I've listed are MOTY candidates already and honestly the main-event will make grown men cry! it was truly epic and it was so obvious the chemistry between the two (Okada/Tanashi) is unreal; the flow to the match was like poetry, what a special performance from those two, they are seriously the Japanese Ric/Steamboat with the main-stream popularity of Rock and Austin. Japanese audiences are notoriously silent and respectful but when they begin to make noise; it's because they are acknowledging that they are watching something special and the reaction for the main-event was insane throughout the match; the crowd was going absolutely nuts.

Styles and Nakamura worked a very very physical style and the final stretch was possibly the best I've ever seen; the match itself was once again very unique and it felt fresh; shinsuke in-ring style allowed that which has to be up there when it comes to versatility, physicality and intensity. Very entertaining match.

I have no doubt in my mind that Nakamura and Styles have been given main roster deals, they may be used on NXT for a few shows or on a special but they will be booked on RAW and pushed as main-eventers at the very least because they must have cost so much money! it would be pretty stupid if they sent them to the mid-card or booked them weak, I expect them to receive a schedule and contract similar to John Cena, maybe less then what he's making but rest assured they would have received deals which are better then what they were making in Japan. The way I looked at it, Vince wanted to make the count but he was unable to because he had just taken the superman punch; usually you'd have a ref be completely unconscious so that the new one runs in but Vince was about to make the count but then wasn't able to given the effects of the punch so the new ref came in and did the count. OR Vince was supposed to remain unconscious but awoke earlier then he should but I feel that's unlikely given that communication in the ring these days is so good and steph was in the ring to, it defo looked a little confusing but that's the way I took it.

Should be a really good one, potential to be the best rumble in years

You knew Nakamura would defeat Styles why the hell tune in?! Their incredible talents and it was a dream match, enough said; nothing more needed to be done to build their feud.

Am not either and he has a long road ahead of him, being THE guy is no joke and it doesn't matter how much the machine push you, if you don't produce the goods you won't draw. However, he has made significant progress over the last 12 months and creative have begun to play to his strengths creatively which is great moving forward. I hate that the league have been made to look weak but that's creatives fault, however they've not been defeated in a match which is good. You're right it would have been better for them to be build as a threat and then when Roman does get the upper hand at least it would mean more like when Austin would take out the ministry on his own or get them to flee. Unfortunately that seems to be the case but Sheamus new persona has given him a new life in the WWE and I hope he remains around the title picture, he will once mania season is over and all the part-timers run off. Sheamus promo or Reigns? I didn't quiet catch Reigns, also I liked the opening segment where Reigns said to Steph something like "I'd worry about your father, because if anyone screws me tonight you won't be picking up your daddy from jail" reigns should have left it at that, then the bear would think reigns implied that steph would be picking daddy's dead body up from the funeral service even in PG you can be bad asss like that

That has to be the best tiatron ever, most sought of are like clips of finishers etc but that one was a part of his gimmick. that tiatron really stood out when hhh returned from injury in 2002 and was crying like a baby ) tried his best to stay in character, the smarks were 10x worse then given his influence backstage and shaddi to steph but on that night at the MSG gave him one of the best reactions ever, darth burius himself was overwhelmed; then Kurt would come out and cut his classic promo ) what a legend

Who thought Slater would be getting a push? Slater might even end up in the final 4 of the royal rumble.

My final 4 for Rumble would be Roman, Lesnar , HHH and Owens.

Jericho owning New Day was much needed.

Hated the San Antonio crowd. Too quiet. Even HBK returning to compete wouldn't have made a difference.

I absolutely adore Becky Lynch. Rooting for her to win the divas title at Mania and have a feud with Sasha Banks.

I expect HHH to win and then have Reigns vs HHH and Lesnar vs Owens at Mania.

Tell me this you want Heath Slater to win the Rumble, wow what a Shock! best Rumble ever! Why did you watch Okada v Tanashi then? you knew who was going to win the end what a hypocrite and in fact you had seen the same match last year! but why did you tune in? it's because of the STORY TELLING, last year tanashi went over and Okada sold the loss with his tears, since then Okada was built as this guy who has all the makings of the new face of NJPW but one who could not win the big one which was to defeat Tanashi on the grandest stage of them all. You knew Nakamura would defeat Styles why the hell tune in?! Their incredible talents and it was a dream match, enough said; nothing more needed to be done to build their feud.

We all know Reigns is going to triumph at some point, but there are elements in place which suggest it won't be as simple and that's what counts. And there are never winners or losers in an entertaining match. The names you speak of will never be the face of WWE in a PG era, at best will most definetly get main-event runs but not yet; KO and Ambrose are having one of the best IC feuds in recent times, am not complaining about how they are being dealt with for now. I agree with you not everyone has the capacity to think like the midnight rockers, we're students of the game , [MENTION=47617]Red Devil[/MENTION] might be the Marty Janetty to my HBK but Marty still was incredibly talented; had he behaved and laid of the women, drugs and alcohol maybe he'd have become a champion like the pagal kuthaa. HHH or Lesnar are the favourites for me but wouldn't be surprised if Reigns won. Yep, RD; the babyface ultimately triumphs at wrestlemania, WWE have intelligently placed elements on that journey to suggest otherwise and that makes for compelling story to be told. Jericho literally used the script from his debut promo in 1999 the crowd was a little dead and Jericho performance was solid but to me it looked like he didn't want to be there and was casually just going through his lines, I got the feeling he had differences with creative because he is very big on the stuff he is asked to do. Anyhow it was a decent segment.

That's awesome, the ministry of darkness use to do that but the Wyatt Family need to go over an opponent that is HOT.

Yep, I see HHH or Lesnar winning. You need to watch some of Becky's performances on the takeover special, she's incredibly talented in the ring; Finn Balor literally picked her off the street and helped her when she was struggling, both trained at the same school in Ireland. I love her steampunk character to, she has so much potential but I feel like creative will let her down.

Same here, when I was listening to the first bit of theme I was frightened and angry at the same time but by the end I was having flashbacks of chris's incredible wrestling career and that emotional moment at mania 20, him and eddie hugging it out is still the greatest moment in WM history.
