It doesn't help Taker that he only shows up once a year, it makes it so much harder; Sting/Flair wrestled into their 50s but they were rarely part timers. Taker may be in better condition but he is still due hip surgery so wont be 100% fit

Loool I can see that happening :yk3

You would need hip surgery after digging graves for that long.......

Speculated card for Wrestlemania 30:

* WWE Universal Championship: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar
* WWE Championship: Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
* RAW Women’s Championship: Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
* Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker
* Seth Rollins vs. Triple H
* Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
* AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon
* John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse
* The Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal
* Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Leathers it seems like Broid/Goldberg will in fact close the show in a championship bout lol and that tag team match though  apparently it could be Nikki Bella's final match which is why they're thinking about doing it.

Hmm seems like an interesting card.

I think we could get a better card based on the current roster - such as the alternate card you posted - however, this seems the more plausible/WWW/Vinnie Mac Mania card.

Given how the past few weeks have gone, coupled with the rumours which are doing the round, the above card seems to be the direction WWE is headed. Now that Seth seems like he may be out of WM - it will be interesting to see what WWE do.

I just wanna see Dwayne open Mania with a beast of a promo, help Roman lay out Taker in the opening match and then I can go to sleep early and have an early night :msd

Then both Rock and Roman get booed out of the arena.

The WWE YouTube channels has been posting Elimination Chamber matches,

To hype up Elimination Chamber this Sunday.

Look at the wrestlers in the video above :88:

I like how they are selling Goldberg as like the one punch man but he's more like an old man who bleeds in one punch.

Two matches announced for Fastlane:

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Kevin Owens vs. Goldberg

Dam, looks like Goldberg is going to win the title......

:sanga

leatherface58 our only hope now is that Broid interferes and costs Goldberg the title but highly unlikely.

Goldberg to destroy KO at Fastlane, do the job to Lesnar at Mania who then jobs to Roman at Summerslam only to say "You are the real beast, Roman!"

Taker to job to Roman and say "It's your yard Big Dawg. I BELEE DAT!"

Then you will have Rock who will turn heel and then still lose only to say at the end "You are the real People's champ Roman!"

EVEN THEN, ROMAN WILL NOT GET OVER.

And STILL Reigns will not get over as a face :)) Have no idea why Vince doesn't put his babyface plans on pause when it comes to Reigns and turn him heel for now, it's not like Reigns is John Cena. I do believe Reigns is much improved now and I can put up with him on the mic as well but the kid has been booked terribly, shoving him down the fans throats will just keep backfiring they do not allow him to develop a connection with the audience organically.

That's my last hope :( wish Broid interferes, would be a huge curve ball but I expect Goldberg to win. At the very least I hope Orton v Wyatt is the main-event with Bray finally going over and receiving all the adulation in the world which he has worked so hard for.

Roman of 2017 is miles ahead of Roman of 2014 in all aspect. He should have been like Cena and taken the US Title and had classics with others like Zayn, Strowman and Rusev. But I think the Balor injury put everything in a spin. Still, he has been given really poor characterization. This is not being a tweener.

Orton, in recent times, has put a lot of people over and does not mind doing the job. He got pinned in the AA vs Wyatts match and not Harper. His PPV record is awful since 2015 and that speaks to his professionalism. In fact, Orton, left to his own, would not mind putting Bray over even cleanly. Let's hope that happens.

Goldberg vs Brock was good for a shock in Survivor Series and now Rumble but to base a Mania main event around it is just ugh. This has the potential to be Starrcade 97 bad.

Looks like we got a new champion :babar

Just watched the chamber match! was marking the hell out throughout, exceptional performances by all participants and it's only fitting that the SD marquee match for mania is highly anticipated and well built just like the show has ever since the brand split; credit to all the bookers, writers, producers and performers.

Amazing match! 5/5 from me, AJ took bumps no one else I've ever seen is capable of, he was the MVP and Bray Wyatt came out looking like a star! it was about damn time! thank you Vince! Also credit to Cena for putting over Bray as well, the road to wrestlemania just got interesting and the card in my opinion is now saved and worth the Bear's £9.99.
Red Devil he broke the glass ceiling!!!!! the eater of worlds will get to eat some main-event Melons on the grandest stage of them all :))) I just hope now that Bray/Orton is the main-event, in between now and mania I will begin Jumma prayer streak :amla

Start the party, Bray on top of the mountain:)):))

They went all out for the Elimination Chamber match starting with Cena and AJ.

Was shocked to see Cena not in the final two,

What turnaround that would be to main event after jobbing to the Rock last Wrestlemania.

:misbah

Big Red was going to go over the Rock at Mania but The Rock went into business for himself. You really think Big Red is gonna go down in 6 seconds to Dwayne?

Some fun facts:

Randy Orton punted Husky Harris(Wyatt) on RAW in 2011 and took him out of action which lead to the birth of Bray Wyatt in NXT. This angle with Orton is like 7 years in the making! lol

Bray Wyatt hasn't been pinned since No Mercy

Bray Wyatt has won 2 championships in under 3 months

Bray Wyatt has pinned Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, John Cena and AJ Styles in under a year

Bray Wyatt is the only man to pin AJ Styles ad John Cena in one night!

Smackdown's entire creative have been working on Bray as there pet project and credit where due for their excellent effort to elevate Bray as a main-eventer, seriously dreamy stuff! can't believe Bray is champion; he's going to have one hell of a run and hopefully the bookers continue to back him

Furthermore, breakdown of Bray Wyatt significant wins since the brand split:

Pinned Randy Orton at No Mercy in October
Pinned Roman Reigns in November at Survivor Series
Won the Tag Team Titles with Orton at TLC in December
Pinned John Cena and AJ Styles to win the WWE Title in the Chamber match

Fantastic segment between KO and Jericho. Thats how you build sympathy for a babyface.

I've not watched RAW yet, I never see it without reading the spoilers/reports because more often then not it's not a well booked show so I need to see if it's worth watching but the moments RAW is good I miss out on the awesome moments like a title change which means something or a great segment e.g involving KO/Jericho in this case as you say. Will be watching Smackdown without reading anything, ever since the brand split it has been very consistent and I always have faith in them delivering a solid episode. RAW had to go all out here to make us forget about how amazing chamber PPV was, SD was supposed to be the most hyped episode of the week which had another chance to win the ratings battle but it seems the RAW bookers put on a brilliant show

That Jericho and Owens segment was brilliant.

"How come my names on this" :sanga

That was what I was planning on doing to Rollins Remover in the PPCW after grooming him to be a main-eventer :afridi

What a beautiful segment which was executed flawlessly

LOL!

RollinRemover was the main man once you took your ball and went home.....

:)):))

Anyway you ready for the era of Wyatt?

He got his first title defence tonight.

I was actually upset at K.Os turn on Jericho great job by WWE building up their friendship and culminating in such a pay off. K.O had that look of a merciless killer when he was attacking Y2J also they showed a backstage segment where him n Hunter were talking before the friendship segment which could tie very well into his motivations for the attack. when WWE gets things rights there are few who are better than them.

Wyatt pinned Cena clean twice now.

:asif

Both Smackdown and RAW were great this week.

Still think Randy going to fight for the title.

Just waiting for the right moment to strike

Just like a Viper

As Orton pledged his allegiance to Bray and refused to face him at mania, next week on SD there will be a battle royal to determine a new no.1 contender; my guess is Luke Harper will win that and in the build to mania Orton will eventually turn on Bray. Then at mania, the WWE championship match will be a triple threat between Bray, Orton and Luke Harper; fantastic piece of story telling and credit to them for building Harper up because he is so good in the ring and often under utilized

Looks like it's going to be Ambrose V Corbin.

Guess that leaves AJ with Shane?

Not really hyped for that one...

Many people weren't as hyped for Vince/HBK either at mania 22 but that turned out to be a MOTY candidate, I think stylistically Shane/AJ can be a decent match up. The other route they could go with is Shane v Mizz and a final encounter between AJ and Cena at mania, I don't mind either. We've already seen AJ/Cena so many times and although it would be great to see them on as big a platform as mania, Shane/AJ is a refreshing match up

Would prefer Shane V AJ over Cena V AJ,

Could be another classic but would be overkill.

Best scenario KURT ANGLE V AJ :smith

Cena going to win the battle royal next week.

Then go onto become 17 time champion at Wrestlemania.

This is because Wyatt don't deserve it. :yk3

Everybody got to earn their title matches unless they are Cena. :shafiq2

Yeah, they can save AJ/Cena for another time now they've had enough classics. Kurt is unlikely to wrestle at mania and he needs to pass a medical as well, all fingers point towards Shane v AJ and am cool with that

Luke Harper will probably win it, have no clue who Cena will be facing I just hope it's not that dreadful tag match with Bella as his partner

– During this week’s episode of Sean Waltman’s X-Pac 12360, Waltman claimed that John Cena had the final say on hisSmackDown Live match against Bray Wyatt this week, and spoke about a backstage conversation he had with AJ Styles at the same show. Here are the highlights…

Waltman on a a conversation he had with AJ Styles this week, backstage at SmackDown Live in Anaheim, California: He came up and he went, I was watching your show and he goes, I just wanted to tell you what you said about John Cena being the man and the best going, you’re a hundred percent correct. He goes, anyone that doesn’t agree with you, it’s because they don’t really know John Cena and have never been in the ring with him.

Sean adds: I’m not sure what the finish was supposed to be for the match last night. But I know this for a fact, that John Cena insisted on putting Bray Wyatt over again last night, insisted on it. That’s not just a rumor.

http://411mania.com/wrestling/sean-waltman-says-john-cena-insisted-on-putting-over-bray-wyatt/

Not that my respect has gone up for Cena because he had won me over years ago but worth pointing out how big a deal it is for a top guy to do the job, not just do the job but insist on it

Kevin Owens has all the heel heat in the world and they will use it to get cheers for Goldberg when he beats KO. Ideally, KO should beat Goldberg (not cleanly) so KO gets even more heat which can be used when he faces Jericho at Mania which should have a really hot crowd.

Raw stumbled upon a goldmine with the Festival of Friendship segment and they will sadly waste it for two part timers headlining Crapomania.

I found him very entertaining alongside Y2J as a comedic heel although I had issue with his booking as world champion, however the pay off to that comedic heel role has been exceptional because the prize fighting ruthless heel KO has returned. I don't agree with putting the belt on Goldberg but given how they have devalued that title, putting it on GB/Broid will give it a bit of legitimacy it works but is a short cut; the issue is that it is fine but a rising talent like KO will not benefit from the pay off but it will be a part-timer at mania. Ideally, you'd have KO beat Broid or GB for the title but they've not built him up to go over in such a fashion.

Wrestlemania is actually not a bad card, it's shaping up to be pretty decent; the only big issue is GB and Broid main-eventing mania in a world championship bout. HHH/Seth has been built up really well, the angle between Harper/Bray/Randy has been absolutely brilliant, although it's not great that KO/Jericho will not be for a world title their feud is so spicy, you have a solid womens division on both RAW/SD so you can expect a decent match once again from the ladies , mid-card bouts will involve all the guys we'd like to see get a main-event push kill it in a ladder match , Samoa Joe/Zayn and AJ/Shane also have immense potential.

RIP George "The Animal" Steele. Always liked his shoot interviews.

Amazing how he used to wrestle part-time and coach football in the off-season. His students didn't even catch on that he was George Steele in the early days. Became famous for biting the turnbuckle and the green tongue.

RIP, was a very loved fan favourite during the golden era although am not familiar with his heel run and feuds with the likes of Sammartino. Was also a well educated man with a masters degree, also famous for that hairy chest lol I bought me lil bro a pro-wrestling encylopedia and he calls me George The Animal as I rival that mans werewolf hair

Did you watch the chamber PPV main event and the opening segment/promo by Bray on the Smackdown which followed? Hasan123

leatherface58 come to think of it WWE always had big plans for Bray, he had been in development for a while and repackaged after the run with Nexus but once on the main roster it only took him 3-4 years to win a world title.

It took Shawn around 7 years before he won his first world championship and he was 32-33 by that time, Bray is only 29. The 50-50 booking hasn't been ideal and Wyatts talent/-fast-progression once he had left NXT warranted a main-event run but it's all about timing and perhaps his organic elevation at the top was essential in this era given how fickle the fans are. Fact that he worked with Cena and Taker in his first couple of mania's proves how high management have been on him, in the end all has worked out for the best.

J.R recently said you rarely see Wyatt have the same type of match and I tend to agree, he's never afraid to try new things and adjusts based on opponent and match type; very improved performer in the ring. That promo on SD after he had won at Elimination Chamber was arguably his best work on the mic, absolutely brilliant.

Harper is going to be involved in the match to and well deserved, I just hope that all three get to main-event mania regardless of who goes over because it would be a monumental achievement

Bray is very quick for his size and has an insane amount of charisma. He can be a superstar anti-hero if they let him. They are booking him more like a face anyway or atleast not a cowardly heel.

Bray is a unique talent. He is like Jake Roberts without the personal demons. In fact, Jake posted a touching video congratulating Bray.

There is big money in a bray face turn, the fans are begging for it; I had the pleasure of attending a house show which featured Bray/Cena in the main-event (which was absolutely fantastic btw, circa 2013) and he was a full fledged heel but his presentation, that entrance and the way he just carried himself resonated with the fans to the point where they could not help cheering for him. Those fire-flies during his entrance just add to his aura (very baby face like entrance), it kind of reminds me of Undertaker when he first came up; fans had grown tired of the gimmicks and yearned for a dark/gritty character, even as a heel in his early days the fans would cheer for Taker at times much like Bray Wyatt. So I believe he has all the tools to be a fan favourite be it as a tweener or pure baby face; it would be best to put him in the mould of an Undertaker in terms of his persona's classification.

Man every time Jake speaks you're hooked to every word, wish he had become champion but deserves to be in the hall; I still cherish when he returned the crowd was a little dry but I marked the hell out and so was Ambrose :)) Jake is a huge fan of Bray for obvious reasons, previously he posted a video directed at Bray which I found funny :))) but others took it a bit too seriously, this was what happened in the video:

The clip features Roberts waking up from his slumber and removing and oxygen mask from his face. He then says that he got garlic flavored condoms for him and Bray tonight before pointing out an outfit he was planning to wear. The video culminates in Roberts removing his gums and saying he'll give Wyatt a "gum job."

Lol. Jake playing those mind games. :)))

I hope DDP gets inducted this year. The man saved two legends from certain death and has helped countless others. An absolute saint which is impossible in the rasslin' business. Jake's promos were so awesome. He could get your attention without screaming.

:))) People thought he might have fallen off again and they forced Jake to delete it before he reassured everyone that he is okay and it was for a laff lol

Wyatt is also a big fan of Jake and said he is one of his dream opponents along with Ric Flair if he could face anyone, he mentioned Daniel Bryan and Taker as well although he has facen them both; vs Taker he had a tough task of getting a decent match out of a Taker which was incredibly out of shape, struggling badly and ring rusty. I remember that feud, Bray literally carried all of it on the microphone! Taker only showed up at mania I think. I guess a Taker in his prime vs Bray would have been awesome in-ring quality wise but he did get to face Bryan at his peak in the WWE system and I'd have to say that match at the Rumble is his best imo, what do you think?

DDP has been rumoured for a hall of fame induction this year! so fingers crossed he gets in this year, you're so right even if you forget the stuff he did in the industry he gets in on DDP yoga alone! although he was so over in WCW and a top main-eventer for them, wasn't used well in the E. Even Jake's hall of fame speech! that was chilling stuff! It's in my top 3 best speech's ever at HOF,

1. Bobby Heenan
2. Iron Sheik
3. Jake Roberts

Ivan koloff would also pass away a few days after George :( , RIP; was one hell of a heel and best known for ending Bruno's 7 year reign.

DDP is such a legend and that's without his great career. What he has done for wrestlers and people in need of help is just awesome. Sure he wants to own a successful business but he seems to genuinely care and is a really great person.

I hope Jake Roberts and Scott Hall induct him. He practically saved them from death.

Shame he won't be champ for much longer.......

Am glad The Rock was not allowed to appear live, we don't need that jobber to cut his lame @ss clangin and bangin , woke up at 4am to eat some fruity pebbles etc promo before burying a poor youngster

sad to see the way Rusev is being booked in a random "comedy" angle. Ever since he lost the U.S title last year he has been stuck in lower card limbo again.

I don't watch his segments because of how bad they use him, he's not a gorah either so he won't be saved in the long run like Bray. There was a time when there'd be incredible hype for a Angle v Russev dream scenario when WWE was booking Russev a lot better then they are, he's incredibly versatile and a fantastic all round performer with a lot of personality which they hold back.

Imagine if Russev was booked well, on a streak and holds the US title after defending it in classics in a variety of matches; then in the Rumble he goes on an unstoppable rampage breaking the record for most eliminations and in doing so clears the ring, Lana then steps in and cuts a promo about how Americans are all weak, pathetic and that there's not one man out there who is brave, courageous and at Russev's Level, no one can stop him etc then 10, 9 , 8 , 7..............1

Kurt Angle appears and crowd goes nuts, he beats the hell out of Russev for a while and then 3-4 more Jobbers enter the ring, Kurt gets mental with German Suplex's, Angle Slams, tosses every one out the ring and finally Russev as the 50K strong in the Alomodome literally blow the roof off. Now Russev doesn't even has as much momentum or heat to make such a scenario amazing although I'd still mark out for a feud between the two and their contrasting styles and sizes would make for a great match

shaz619 i think Rusev and Kurt is still a big money match if his booking recovers and he is booked like a monster again. Rusev is a multi faceted performer as we know he can play the comedy heel but he needs to be booked as a monster again to get the best out of him just like K.O has switched from comedy heel to the ruthless prizefighter who just cares about winning.

Looks like we really are getting Cena/Nikki v Mizz/Maryse :/ I can't believe Cena would allow it, what an awful match for a star of his aura. Gong from a possible match with Taker or Styles to a throwaway mixed tag match  at least I know when to take a toilet break during WM this year

Waste of Cena,

Waste of time.........

I bet the ending will be Cena locking Miz in STF and Nikki locking Maryse in a (much better) STF and both tapping out. Cena then goes down on a knee and ... AA'S NIKKI! He then proposes to the Miz.

What if all of this is a big curve ball which is set up for a Cena heel turn after all when he hits Nikki with an AA :)) they could finally do it, I mean Cena is not getting any younger. He retains massive appeal with the Kids demo graph, it would be pointless if they made him a bad guy when he's past his prime but I suspect that

Taker looks like a grandpa got into a bar fight and got a shiner.

He did not look good in this Rumble. :(

And they will have him raise Roman's hand after the feud.

It was really sad to see Taker in that state at the Rumble :( I know he likes to do whatever the company asks him and has been extremely loyal but he should also know that it's okay to say no as well.

I think given his state and WWE being hell bent on booking him, AJ would have been the ideal opponent to take care of him in the ring; AJ could benefit immensely from the rub as well, he'd be around for the next 6-7 years at the top level as it is.

With Taker in that condition though I don't personally want to see my heroes like that, one thing I'll always respect shawn for is going out on top and sticking to his word by giving the retirement stipulation respect. The state of Taker at the Rumble in that particular instance is the worst I have seen him prior to mania, yes in the past he has managed to get past his condition/age and put on decent bouts but there's a chance that farther time has finally caught up with him, looked very slow and ponderous in the ring

RAW was pretty good.

KO was brilliant on the mic.

Will Rollins be ready in time?

Looks like we are getting Zayn V Joe at Fastlane

Strowman beating up Roman Reigns again :yk3

Seth will make it in time, he won't be 100% but 24 hours before the match he will put extra red chilly powder in HHH Biryani to make it a level playing field when they wrestle

:))

Do you think HHH will bring his golden shovel to Wrestlemania?
