2) Abu Dhabi is the first city in the UAE along with UAQ with actual alcohol shops since the early 2010's , as in you can just walk into a shop and buy beer or wine (not inside a hotel).

3) Dubai alcohol laws were actually stricter than Abu Dhabi until 2021

4) Ajman has a huge official and unofficial alcohol scene.

The only thing you got right is that Sharjah is strict and alcohol isnt allowed there.

I think eventually some chinese dudes were caught dropping them, but literally they would cover the whole street.

I spent a lot of time on construction sites with desi expats. Most of those guys were drunks or blatant drug users to numb the pain.
