Is it a knockout??100 finally in a world cup while chasing.
Kohli would have scored 100 against Australia if Rahul had responded to the easy singles and doubles. However, Rahul was tired and refused.Kohli is now a Top 5 run getter in the World Cup as of now.
Is it on a full moon dayIs it a knockout??![]()
Pretty apt description. Although, I'll add tubelight, torchlight and matchlight as well between Prime Kohli and Prime Babar.Old Kohli

More like Wasim Akram vs Irfan Pathan. The entire nation was obsessed & hellbent on making Pathan the next Akram after conquering Pakistan in 04. That really confused the kid, clouded his mind & his career went down to drains. That & of course Chappell's experiments. This thread is like wasim akram vs zaheer khan.
Babar Azam can be compared to Pandya or Siraj in terms of batting.Babar is a fraud. Don’t ever insult Kohli again by comparing him to Babar.
What a rivalry!!Babar vs Bavuma update
After today's failure Babar is now at 83 runs after 4 inns
Meanwhile Bavuma at 59 from 3.
He won't be no. 1 after this gameNot my ‘king’, never was and never will be.
His best ODI innings was 4 years ago vs NZ. Pretty poor for someone that’s ranked as number 1 in ODI’s.
There is no comparison b/w Kohli and BabarKohli vs Babar against Australia in this world cup:
Kohli: 85 runs (in Chennai)
Babar: 18 runs (in Bangalore)
To my knowledge, I have never seen him play a clutch innings under pressure in ODIs while chasing. Can you remember one instance where he did?Expecting a big score from Babar today
Other than nz last wc noTo my knowledge, I have never seen him play a clutch innings under pressure in ODIs while chasing. Can you remember one instance where he did?
That innings came during the chase with the run rate below 4.Other than nz last wc no
One more lose and Pakistan likely out of the tournament .yes after that he can turn things around in meaningless MatchesBabar can still turn it around but today must have dented his pride a little.
Ya that was the best out of the lot. His best innings being in a chase of 240 says a lotThat innings came during the chase with the run rate below 4.
Haris was so important in that chase. Such a shame he never really kicked on.Other than nz last wc no
Mehhh around 350 was chase(able). Poor bowling/fielding resulted in extra runs. Still it was not impossible. Babar got exposed. His biggest mistake today was before a single ball was bowled.
After the toss, Cummins must have been laughing all the way back to the dressing room telling his team of the good news that they have been gifted the first go on this batter's paradise.
350 chase against starc, hazlewood and cummins? dream onMehhh around 350 was chase(able). Poor bowling/fielding resulted in extra runs. Still it was not impossible. Babar got exposed.
No. It was the correct decision and 360 can be chased easily in Chinnaswamy stadium with kind of start openers gave to Pak.His biggest mistake today was before a single ball was bowled.

A lot of middle orders would fail with the mountain of runs before them. This total or higher has only been chased successfully twice in the entire history of ODI cricket. Scoreboard pressure counts for a lot, and on a ground where it sits up nicely, with a lightning outfield and fisher price boundaries we should have been chomping at the bit to make runs first.No. It was the correct decision and 360 can be chased easily in Chinnaswamy stadium with kind of start openers gave to Pak.
Imam and Abdullah weren't dealing in sixes like Marsh-Warner but they set the platform well for Babar-Riz and remaining batsman to cross the line.
But your middle order failed again. Just check the final score. A 30 ball fifty contribution from Babar or middle order could've won the match for Pak.
Lol no, I don't think more than 330 or has ever been chased in BLR.No. It was the correct decision and 360 can be chased easily in Chinnaswamy stadium with kind of start openers gave to Pak.

Not really. Biggest mistake was conceding 367. Australia was insipid in the last 8 overs. made only 48. They were heading towards 420 easily. His biggest mistake today was before a single ball was bowled.

Australia had a poor end to their innings.
They should have easily reached 390-410.
And Pakistan would be chasing leather all day.
The only reason people believed (even though it was 90-10 in favour of Australia) was because instead of 390-410 they were left at 370.
However, chasing 370 is NEVER on if your two openers bat at 6 per over while RRR goes to 8.5 per over with 30 overs to play.
Pakistan were never really gonna get close.
It was only an illusion that some fans got because of the poor end to Australian innings.
do you have video of this?Simon Doull was extremely severe on Babar.
Calling out Babar's performance against minnows and weak teams.
When did he do that? I mean I expect him to bury Babar on such occasions but I didn't hear anything during the match.Simon Doull was extremely severe on Babar.
Calling out Babar's performance against minnows and weak teams.
Babar is very timid player with no personality at all.
Forget King Kohli, he is on the level of Shreyas Iyer.
