Where is my dude Kiwi ?? PHATTA KING MATE....
Why is so much hate from indian fans to Rohit.common guys he was playing his first test outside india and one failure all are at his back.Kohli, pujara all took time to adjust.give him some time he is back after couple of centuries. And Pujara played better than the talent
And Pujara played better than the talent
Sharma deserves criticism ... If it wasn't for 'talunt Talunt' chant over his batting since debut , then he wouldn't have been part of ODI side ,after soooo many failures ....Why is so much hate from indian fans to Rohit.common guys he was playing his first test outside india and one failure all are at his back.Kohli, pujara all took time to adjust.give him some time he is back after couple of centuries.
Excellent innings from Kohli. he is the best in the this era.
Do you see me bragging about Taylor scoring a hundred on a green wicket? No, because I know the wicket flattened out and was easy to bat on after the first hour.Where is my dude Kiwi ?? PHATTA KING MATE....

You need some luck early and he had some, but credit to him for playing his shots and scoring 100.
Also the wicket has flattened out pretty quickly, as much as you'll like to deny this.
Vijay did a brilliant job shielding the middle order from the early threat.
SA should score 500-600 pretty comfortably the wicket looks a belter, the wicket doesn't look a result wicket and both batting line ups are strong on these wickets.
Were you?not sure if you were watching same game.
Allan Donald conceded that his bowlers may have bowled a little wider and shorter than they were supposed to, but added that India hadn't run away with things. He did expect a bit more from the pitch though and went on to suggest it might turn out to be a belter.

Also the wicket has flattened out pretty quickly, as much as you'll like to deny this just because the game is in SA doesn't make it automatically green or difficult. Nonetheless Kohli played brilliantly against a great bowling attack.

I'm sure India won't have problems in the 2nd innings if Vijay and Dhawan see through 10-12 overs. Imran " I can't land the ball" Tahir has been bowling some epic pies..![]()
I liked what Vijay was doing. He was doing exactly what opener should be doing. Reminded me of Akkash Chopra in 2003 Australia, even though he didn't score a lot but he took the shine off the bowl which made it easier for middle order.
Dhawan is like Scooby Doo... Throw him the short ball and he will fetch it like if it was Scooby snacks ...Only if Dhawan comes to the party like Sehwag did..
Agree with the bounce but there wasn't much sideways movement.Hahah Ofcourse he is the bowling coach of SA, he will make excuses for not batting after lunch as they are used to nowdays. There was movement and bounce whole day, it is just Indians left the ball very well. If they played those balls, they would have gotten out. Give credit where it is due.
decent innings butstill doesnt rate him

Some of his pull shots look a little like Ponting's... I see a bit of similarity here between Ponting and Kholi...

Don't get me wrong - Rosco's ton was very good, but you're a Pakistani right?
He is an Indian Kiwi who hates India and England and loves South Africa.
Pretty confusing.
No I'm a lurker more than a poster here and I've seen him being a big fan of Afridi and M. Amir and those guys...only Pakistani cricket supporters do that.

But SA is batting on 2nd day when the pitch has eased out..Morning 10 overs was fresh & it doomed indian lower order....We'll see how easy this pitch is to bat on when SA have finished.
We'll see how easy this pitch is to bat on when SA have finished.

Come on come on from hiding wherever youuuuu aaareeWe'll see how easy this pitch is to bat on when SA have finished.

Keep it up BulletDrive, whoever BD supports usually fails and whoever he dislikes performs. Amazing guy to have as a enemy, keep up the good work

He would become the first sub-continent player to achieve that in SA ... as well as the 2nd player overall to achieve that after pontingIf he gets 2 centuries in this test that will be epic and shut his critics for sometime.
What a player, though i still feel he isnt the best young test batsman going around, but he surely is 2nd behind Indias very own Pujara
To be honest I feel Kohli is more closer to KP than Ponting. Ponting was very authoritative with this pulls, Kohli is not there yet, but he plays spin better than Ponting.
Overall, Kohli needs to perform at 50+ avg for atleast 2 years before the genuine comparisons start with KP let alone an ATG like Ponting.
I was not talking about performance stats wise, I feel Kohli plays a similar pull shot to Ponting....
He is also about as likeable a chap as Ponting was.
Nope. Ponting achieved phenomenally well on that front.
Kohli is a long way ahead of Ponting in the tosser stages, Ponting took some time to be disliked, Kohli took about two games.
He had ponting to look upto now.. didnt he?
No biasing here really RA.
He is also about as likeable a chap as Ponting was.
Similar players, competitive and easy to dislike. But that is a part of what makes them good players. Nobody liked McGrath either.
Kohli is yet to badger an umpire for decisions, claim bump catches, ask people to stay the f* away even when being asked about his own well being, go mongrel full throttle when confronted by the media etc etc.
Both do not come with best of behaviours.. but Ponting is absolute class and miles apart in that regard.

He does have an attitude, but he is a player exuberating with confidence and a perfect replacement for Tendulkar. To be honest he is a bigger match-winner than Tendulkar as he seems to perform exceedingly well with his back pushed to the wall.
