What's new

West Indies v Pakistan | 1st T20I | Bridgetown | Mar 26, 2017 | West Indies innings

WI are such a boring opposition

Wait until you see the matches in Guyana and the Test series.

These wickets produce even more attritional cricket than the UAE. Expect 2 RPO in the Tests.

A gem from cricinfo, "This is only Kamran's second international as a non-wicketkeeper. In his first match, he had dropped Bosman"

I think they should just talk about matches in which kami don hasn't dropped a catch. Those would be fewer.

Man I love seeing Pakistan dominate. Regardless of the quality of the team they are versing.

Carribean is the worst place to watch cricket

Never understood English fascination with Carribean cricket

Loots bosman
He proceeded to destroy us

Ah yes - he was that SAF opener who had that record T20 opening partnership with Smith right?

I remember he played back in 2008/09. Think he also took a Kolpak deal...

Waiting for pollard batting

Supporting W I :)

I hope you enjoyed that effort by Pollard at a SR of 52 and are loving this batting performance by a team which treats their players extremely well, selects their team purely on merit, picks youngsters to give them a chance and has well and truest earned the support of fickle fans like yourself :)

It's curious that in Limited overs cricket West Indies have been our whipping boys for years now

But we always manage to lose to them in world events despite their terrible team

2004 CT, 2007 WC, 2015 WC. Sure a few world t20s as well if we played them

I think 2007 before the ODI WC

Because their best players don't show up for these matches.

It's weird that Carribean fans still show up to support their team even though all you hear is cricket is dead

Like even tests have attendance

Certainly more attendance than we get in UAE despite them losing for ages

Wahab doing what he is paid for! Making the match interesting.

Wahab making sure that the match is some heat competitive and logon ka paisa wasool ho

Don't get me wrong, the venues themselves are beautiful and I'd love to be sitting in the stands. But the pitches make for terrible cricket spectacles.

The curators are poorly trained and produce these slow, sluggish wickets.

They beat us in the 2014 world t20.

We also lost to them in the 2013 CT.

Last time we beat them in a iCC tourney was in the 2011 WC QF.

clear improvement in Hasan Alis average speed

Guys hasan ali is the real deal among pace bowlers. This guy is too good.

WI fans will say they don't care about cricket but after a win they're like "hey man did you see the match last night ?!"

The interest is definitely still there.

Test attendances however aren't great apart from Tests vs England where the old historical and colonial rivalry comes into play.
