Brave declaration. If Pakistani tailenders can smack it around then it is clearly still possible to score runs here. Still, this does give Pakistan its best chance to win.

They smacked it around but they gave plenty of chances too. It's not easy to score quickly on this pitch

It's a Dukes Ball - it stays lively for more than twenty overs, up to thirty.

So it was a great chance to have twenty overs with both this AND a second new ball tomorrow.

The late declaration has reduced the potential second new ball to a maximum of 13-14 overs.
