A Walk Among Tombstones (2014)
3/10
Expected much better from a Liam Neeson movie. Hollywood's been pretty poor recently.
I'd give it 1. Was just low budget garbage.
The Others ..9/10
One of those movies whose twisting ending leave you speechless.
I bet if you watch it for the first time you would want to watch it again on the same day..![]()

The kids were brilliant![]()
I gave 2 points to Liam's voice.

Creature 3D 6/10
ok movie since horror genre is at infancy stage in bollywood, Imran Abbas had a good role
This one has Nichole kidman ?

Just watched Singham 2, I hated how in the movie theyattacked their own religion while glorifying other people's religion. Was not good to see.
Annabelle. Had some good scares and was decently shot. The husband in this is possibly the most useless character of all time but the wife does a pretty decent acting job and isn't as annoying as her other horror movie protagonists.
I have planned to give it a go, should I? It´s all in your hands, sir.
Yes.
Take a date with you.
'Dracula Untold' (2014)
Quite a wonderful film. I fully enjoyed this one. It was a last-minute plan to go as both my brothers-in-law as well as my brother had a day off, and I am to be classified as the most jobless person in the world anyway.
Given that it was released just on the previous day, there was hardly any empty seats in the hall. Saqs What did Waqar Younis once say? "It´s a full house, especially on the right."
So yeah, a very good film.
Saw the trailer looked like a real treat. Will check it out.

Bang Bang
7/10

Really? You thought bang bang deserves a 7? Low standards I guess![]()

Just because of hrithik![]()

Which religion did they glorify in it? Can´t remember much anymore.
Dracula Untold is PG-13!!!! How the hell do you make a PG-13 movie about the most bloodthirsty character in the history of fiction? And what's the deal with portraying him as an anti-hero? He is a monster. Always was, always will be. Look at Nosferatu or Lugosi's Dracula. Now those are real vampires. The last true great vampire was Chris Sarandon's Jerry from Fright Night.
When you get the time, go through this article:

It was sickening what that movie did.
Dial M for Murder - absolute classic!!!
Operation 021
One word : really bored me
On technical side of things it was A-1 but there was no story at all.It was a 2 grade level documentary about Afghanistan.
i went along with my other 2 brothers they were taking a nap in the middle of the movie
did not live up to its hype.
Na Maloom Afraad (2014)
One word. Brilliant
Enjoyed each and every moment. It was very funny with good acting of everyone, brilliant work by the new director Nabeel Qureshi. Good thing about this movie was it was shot on the streets of Karachi. I am not a big fan of item numbers but I enjoyed the Billi song. Saw people were clapping when the movie ended. The movie is already a hit and I think it will surpass the previous hit Waar (2013).
8/10
'Haider' (2014)
Easily Shahid Kapoor´s best film and one in which he has worked the best, but the reason behind my keenness to watch this one was the director, Vishal Bhardwaj, and especially if it happens to be an adaptation of any of Williams Shakespeare´s play by him. This one had at least a couple of similarities with the play 'Macbeth'.
The only negative thing was its 160-minutes long length. Seriously, I personally can´t put up with such a long film. Having finished watching it some 40 minutes ago, I am having immense headache and even a cup of tea hasn´t helped so far.
As I usually do after watching any good film based on any Shakespeare´s play, I would just stop to praise the great man´s writing skills and creativity. How I wish I could write a tragic screenplay like his ones!
I will give it nine out of 10!
Mystic River
With a childhood tragedy that overshadowed their lives, three men are reunited by circumstance when one loses a daughter.
This is a solid movie. No gimmicks.

One of those movies for me. The ending took it from 8/10 to a 3/10. Utterly hated it. And I don't mind downers but this one was terrible. Not to mention, Sean Penn hamming like crazy.Loved this. 9/10 from me. Was on point. Every actor killed it.

A bit disappointing compared to the sequel which had some awesome moments. This one has three stories and a wraparound. Unfortunately none are scary except for a few WTH moments but this one has three fun segments and a terrible, nauseating wraparound.
Vicious Circles AKA The Wraparound (Directed by Marcel Sarmiento) : Guy tries to film an ice cream truck being chased by cops but apparently there is bad stuff happening to whoever is around that truck. Builds up intrigue but falls flat. Terrible ending and annoying shaky cam.
Dante the Great (Directed by Gregg Bishop): A loser magician gets his hands on Houdini's Cloak and becomes a star. But there is a terrible price to pay for the stardom. Excellent special effects and a very good ending despite lacking scares.
Parallel Monsters (Directed by Nacho Vigalondo) : Scientist builds a portal from where he sees his parallel self having also built a portal. The two selves exchange places for 15 minutes and it goes baaaaaaad. The best segment IMO with seriously messed up special effects and some genuine suspense.
Bonestorm (Directed by Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson) : Group of doping and roller skating teens go to Tijuana for drugs, fireworks and fun. But they get more than they bargained for. A good segment which went on for a bit too long and some truly confusing camera work. It also didn't help that the characters were uniformly detestable.
Gorgeous Vortex directed by Todd Lincoln was excised from the movie for some reason. No one's giving a clear answer but I hope we get it back.
Overall, I liked this movie lesser than the other two films. Nothing in this comes close to Safe Haven from Part 2. But it's a watchable segment with some fun moments and humour.
6/10
Not many people would appreciate this movie for the first time, this takes time to sink in.
I always compare this movie to 21 grams, I guess because they came out the same year and had Sean Penn in them. I thought Mystic River was overhyped. Other than a few scenes it lacked cohesion. 21 grams was far superior imo.
Just watched Border,classic movie.
I urge every Pakistan posters here to watch it.

Beware, it's an extremely sad movie. I remember renting it from Netflix when it first came out on DVD and knowing the subject matter I sat on it for weeks trying to gather the strength to watch it. Finally saw it one night when I was mentally at a place where I knew I could withstand the emotional punch. It was a psychologically devastating yet deeply moving experience. The movie's story, characters and images lived with me for weeks afterwards. Still, I haven't been able to get myself to watch it again. I think after "Schindler's List" that was the most emotionally wrenching experience I've ever had while watching a movie.
If you like this movie, you should also check out 'Babel' by the same director (Alejandro González Iñárritu). It's not as melancholic as '21 grams' but is equally poignant and well made. The concept of widely different story lines and characters converging towards the same theme is done beautifully plus the soundtrack by Gustavo Santaolalla is a treat on its own.
Fracture. (2007)
Love these courtroom thrillers with the the criminal playing around with the prosecutors mind. Loved it.
8.5/10 - Solely because i felt the ending wasn't as strong as it could have been.
