The Book Thief. Beautiful story about a little girl from 1940s. Loved it.

American Hustle

David O Russell seems to be really inspired by old Scorsese and Sidney Lumnet. He's gotten some great performances from all the leads. A few things which made this movie from being truly great for me were the story being at times stagnant and not flowing effortlessly like it should have. Also, the soundtrack from the 70's is a treasure trove. It could have been better. A little more graphic violence would have been nice too.
 
It's a spin off? As in the same people didn't make it?

It was entertaining atleast.

True the links didn't really make any sense and the paranormal entity in this wasn't really too frightening either.

But it's more a reflection of how forgettable and repetitive the others had become for me. Part 1 was good. I can't even remember the others.

Brilliant movie. A must watch.

License to Kill 6.5/10

James Bond goes rogue and takes revenge for his friend against a drug dealer. This was in the drive for some time finally i watched it
 
Gravity.

Left me almost speechless.

Thought it was amazing.
 
The Believer, Ryan Gosling's first major movie, about a young Jewish American turning neo-Nazi (based on a real story)... thought it'd be cheesy but was quite good, with a decent soundtrack too...

The Forgotten 7/10

This is a must watch for all you people who like twist endings and cliffhangers.

Had a very suspenseful plot of a mother looking for her child that is presumably dead to everyone around her.

I will not watch this movie, based on Mo.

His words hold a lot of weight with me of late.
 
Is it just me or do these superhero and 'fantasy' movies have absolutely no "replay value"?

For instance, I travel a lot, and on the plane, I frequently see others watch these movies I have seen before. And I think to myself, how the hell did I sit through 2.5 hours of The Hobbit 2, or Iron Man, or Thor?

Absolutely no replay value for me, except for The Dark Knight and DKR. Even Batman Begins has no replay value for me, as there is no amazing villain in there.
 
Main Tera Hero.

Really enjoyed it. David Dhawan at his best & Varun Dhawan is quite talented. Both the girls are quite hot as well. Don't miss this one if you like masala flicks.

its about a dog being turned into a racist who attacks the black person to death interesting movie, it was in horror genre but there was nothing to be horrified :91:

Was something different in regards to the genre.
2 Fast 2 Furious - 8/10
As good as the first .
Tokyo Drift-7/10
Different but was good IMO .
Fast and Furious-6/10
Not as good as the others IMO the driving took a back seat on this one .

Everyone knows that is a custom with every Marvel movie- they are all somehow connected. It's not bad as you are making it out to be.
 
Anchorman 2 is the last one I watched in the cinema...boring and dead jokes. Anchorman and will ferrel himself is a mediocre and overrated comedian who cracks 1 good joke outta 10
4/10 for a decent storyline

2 fast 2 furios is a 10/10 for me...One of the best movies ever and definitely the best out of the franchise..."And we ent hungry no more ahahaha" :afridi
 
Films on Cinema that is coming up in UK that I'm definitely watching are Amazing Spiderman 2 and Godzilla.

Theres nothing special about it. It is the same thing as usual. Action, World in trouble, heroes in trouble,Twist, heroes in trouble, Action, Happy ending.

Yawn.

I know thats how the movies are but there are too many of them released these days and they all are the same.

Im a hero *Falls from the sky lands on his shield, runs super fast* Boring as fudge. And there was barely any funny bits 2 or 3 maximum.

To each their own of course.

'Gulaab Gang' (2014)

At first I that the our poster Indiafan might have been the film-maker, but the fact that he doesn´t advocate violence made me perish the thought.
 
Main Tera Hero 6.5/10

Its like a 90's style Govinda movies no surprises as director is David Dhawan, the movie was a masala some of the dialogues were good girls were nothing special apart from skin show
 
King Kong Lives- Probably the worst movie ever. It's horrible. 1/10

What Lies Beneath- watched this before. Still holds up. 8/10

The Wolf of Wall St- good but too long. Typical Scorsese movie. 6/10

Will catch The Raid 2 this week.

Nebraska - A story about one delusional old man on his way to collect a million dollar prize with his son. The movie has about a hundred more old people going about their lives. Some people may find it extremely dull, but I found it decent. 7/10
 
The Departed

Been on my list for a long time, and it lives up to the hype. Big Cast (Leo, Damon, Walhberg, Baldwin, Nicholson and Sheen) gives big performances, plot was very intriguing and the ending was both funny and amazing

If you like crime or thriller films, watch it

the movie was very disturbing for me still worth a watch

Bedazzled (1967) 4/10

A man is fed up of his life as he has a boring job and no girllfriend and want to suicide until a devil turns up......

as i had watched the new Bedazzled the one starring Liz Hurley :warne and i found the above mentioned one pretty predictable watched it in a hope that it might be better thant the new one but :(
 
Detention (2011)
An insane movie about teens having their own problems who are in detention and trying to dodge a psycho killer. Also features among other things a time travelling bear, aliens and a movie that's confused as to whether it's horror, comedy, sci-fi or just trippy. Highly Original movie but ultimately is too caught up in being smart to be effective.

Watched Source Code for the second time having watched it in the theaters when it came out three years ago. Very good movie. Definitely recommended.
 
Exam was decent but not great. Storyline seemed a bit weak and could've done a much better job.
 
The Shooter, damn good movie. Mark Wahlberg is such a natural action star and all the shooting and action sequences were great !

This is a good , solid movie. I do not understand why you did not like the end ? It was natural in the end things would get disclosed.
