Are you talking about the one from 2004 or the recent "The Amazing Spiderman 2"
I guess the recent one- it was lame tbh. The Sam Raimi one with Doc Oc was awesome.

I'm kinda disappointed that no one has heard of Italian horror greats like Dario argento, Mario Bava and Lucio Fulci. IMO, they made some truly path breaking stuff that very few people know of. The entire 80s slasher subgenre was a watered down version of the giallo genre from the 60s and 70s. If you haven't seen Suspiria, Deep Red, A Bay of Blood, Blood and Black Lace, Black Sabbath, then you haven't really seen truly great horror.
I want to watch sucker punch. Just intrigued by the name. Would anyone recommend it?
Quite possibly the most confused, muddled and obscure attempts at a movie of all time.
It literally was a video game or music video, that lasted 2 hours too long.
I will never get those hours back.
I've been going a through quite a few British films which are not usually of the highest standard but there is a low concept, gritty realism to British cinema which I can relate to.
The Business - British Gangster film set in Spain starring Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan. Worth a watch.
Severance - British Horror film about a team building weekend on a remote mountain. Starring Danny Dyer this is an excellent film with a lovely blend of humour and outrageous scenes of extreme violence.
Football Factory - A realistic hooligan flick about a group of Chelsea hooligans and their violent exploits around the country following their club. Like most of the films above and generally British films given their graphic nature, this is not a movie for everyone but due to the realistic nature they work for me and I enjoyed it.
Rise of the Foot Soldier - Basically a story of two halves. The first half an excellent portrayal of Carlton Leach as a feared football Hooligan to a second half of gritty and violent gangster film. It worked and I enjoyed it.
Cass - Another Football Hooligan film about an orphaned Jamaican who rises to become one of the most feared men in Britain. Again, based on a true story, I felt it was the weakest of the Hooligan films but still enjoyable.
I watched Dom Hemingway the other day. Hollywood just doesn't do dark comedy like the Brits do.
Severance was amazing too.
'Godzilla' (2014)
Took the subway all the way to Wiesbaden (around about an hour and 10 minutes it took) as I caught up with this film´s last show in the country! Phew, race against time! Came back home at 0:00 AM.
Quite enjoyable. Kept me on my toes throughout. The action was admirable, and I may just add, that it was heavily dependent on action alone instead of the story.
Mary Kom.
Average film....but great inspirational theme.
Great to see sportswoman who rise from hardships and even motherhood... to become World Champion in boxing so many times.
A perfect story of commitment and dedication to all aspects of life.
Alas, the movie was weak.... but rightly glorifies one of the greatest sportswoman.
M.C. Mary Kom....the "Magnificent Mary"
Kiri check out Memento, greatest thriller of all time imo and the best psychological thriller i've ever seen.
Wasn't Sightseers made by Ben Wheatley the dude behind Kill List? That movie was a fine example of jumping from one genre to another.
Hollywood are too formulaic for my liking nowadays, I struggle to watch the same stuff being churned out over and over again.
I haven't seen Dom Hemingway yet but I've heard good things about it. Another one to watch is Sightseers. It blends the line between dark comedy and horror quite impressively.
Any psychological thrillers out there similar to Memento?
Yes.Wasn't Sightseers made by Ben Wheatley the dude behind Kill List? That movie was a fine example of jumping from one genre to another.
Proper *** ending. ..Did you enjoy Kill List? Loved it.
Easily the best Jude Law performance I've seen to date. Will check sightseers out.
It had startling similarities to A Serbian Film except it wasn't nearly as morally repugnant. A pretty good domestic drama plus hitman thriller plus horror movie.Did you enjoy Kill List? Loved it.
Shutter Island
Shining .. (if you have passion for Kubrick's awesomeness + Nicholson's craziness)
Following (Nolan's first movie.... Nolan Fan's should check it out for sure)
Primal Fear (Ed norton's debut .. an awesome one)
or you if you appeciate old classics... Hitchcock's movies are in class of their own
My fav
Vertigo and North by Northwest
also check out Strangers on a train, Rear window... Psycho is a given.
Shallow Grave is a British classic as is Dead Mans Shoes.
Itni door jane ki kya zaroorat thi ???
Kisi aur chakar main gaye hogay..
Want to watch the new Kevin Smith horror-comedy Tusk where a man is tortured into becoming a walrus. Sounds like The Human Centipede but it reportedly isn't. It's also getting some good reviews in the festival circuit with major praise for Michael Parks as the maniac who tries to turn Justin Long into a walrus. It's also a comeback for the Boy who sees dead people, Haley Joel Osment who has gotten a bit chubby. Not to mention, has a cameo in it as well.Johnny Depp

Mulhalland Drive.
Should also watch Donnie Darko if you are not disturbed enough.
Silence of the lamb - exceptional thriller film. Must see if you haven't watched it yet.
It had startling similarities to A Serbian Film except it wasn't nearly as morally repugnant. A pretty good domestic drama plus hitman thriller plus horror movie.
Check out Wheatley's entry in ABCs of Death. He is responsible for the short film U. Very well-directed and suspenseful.
Really? A Serbian film? Lol wow. Ok. Didn't think it was that bad. I have not seen ASF and nor do I plan to, but didn't think it was on the level of Kill List.
Mary Kom.
Realized what a bad actress Priyanka Chopra is..and won't be surprised if she bags a national award for acting just because the movie is promoting a sportsperson from the neglected north east. That they could not find someone from the north east to play the Mary Kom character tells the story. Bollywood sucks at making biopics. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and now Mary Kom. They don't make them like Paan Singh Tomar. There was a scene when she makes fun of the post of a Hawaldaar, and the audience laughed. When will they learn to treat every profession with dignity? And the unnecessary patriotism stuffed into the movie was irritating. During the last scene the movie asked the audience to stand up while the national anthem played. I sat crossed legged while patriots stood up around me. I hoped some over zealous patriot remarked on me so that I could have thrashed all patriotism out of him. Not the first time I would have beaten someone in a theatre.
dude!! why do your posts always make me go
In what world is it ok, to honor a multiple times world Champion a post of constable.
Imagine Sachin being honored by this instead of a seat in Rajya Sabha.
The movie highlights blatant gender discrimination in our sporting federations
HArbhajan Singh was made a SP in Punjab police at the age 21 after the glorious Australia series.
(I am not really sure if he had any educational qualification)
I dont give a damn that u diss the national anthem, it doesn't matter to the country because there are enough people who actually care.
PS: regarding the movie i have already given my comments in a post before.
Read the post again mr facepalm.
"...the audience laughed. When will they learn..." what was so funny to laugh about it? and the way priyanka chopra said it made me want to smack her ugly face.
do you know that not standing for the anthem while it is played in a movie is perfectly fine according to the laws. not that i am that law abiding.
It was a request at the end of the movie.. u duffus... the irritating part is that u as the moron u are feel proud at being able to diss at the anthem....
Dude, I am nowhere close to Mary Kom's level, but with my qualifications if someone tells me that i deserve a constable post.. I would be pretty mad too.
PS: I am not going to respond .. on this and derail this long going thread. Replying to you is like watching interactive India TV, I must have lost some IQ by now.
I meant thematically. ASF is a competently made film which arguably makes it even more despicable. In ASF, the protagonist is an adult movie star called for a last film which goes awry. Of course the things that guy does in the movie makes the dude from Kill List look like a monk.
Mary Kom 6/10
1st half of movie was great after that it just fell flat still a good effort also the length was decent unlike Bhaag Milkha
Pakistan should make a movie about Mohammad Waseem who is from Balochistan and let's see if that is as famous as Mary Kom
Not worth it IMO. It's not one of those movies you brag about to your friends. Infact I'm ashamed to watch it as much as I did. Mind you it's not the goriest ever. But the filmmakers claiming it's something more than exploitation cinema is pure hogwash.Interesting. Thematically, I thought Kill List was amazing. So I might check out ASF. And then get my eyes bleached.
Highway. Really liked this movie. Good acting by Alia Bhatt.

mary kom was not bad. priyankas acting was good.
No surprises there. None of the so called Bollywood 'actresses' of current generation can act to save their lives.
finally a positive review, if you look at all the garbage that comes out the subcontinent barring WAAR in recent times i was really looking forward to Mary Kom because at least it would have a descent plot/story to it you can't go wrong with a biopic. Last bolly movie i watched was chennai express in cinemasurely it will be better then that pile of garbage swingy
lmao even if we made a movie on ppcl it would be better than chennai express.
